I think the turning off of the phones would have seen a conviction.

The police said they had no evidence of thenm at the scene, the mobile stuff was circumstantial evidence. Without a confession it would be tough going.

Too much evidence of premeditation. The clothing purchase, the phone synchronization, the change of dealer, the admission to others with correct information only the murderer could know and don't forget the rucksack from yesterday.

They'd have gone down regardless.

Could have said they were jumped by others they were due to meet and only they got away

AFAIK there were no weapons found (apart from the deceased's fake pistol) and none of the clothing either .....beyond reasonable doubt?

I haven't ruined anymore than jake with his 20/g comment for medical grade (it wasn't medical grade by the way). I also haven't said if it was the lad you have currently seen in custody who did it so stop getting your knickers in a twist. The story was widely reported in the media at the time anyway, Im still looking forward to part 2 in a minute to see how much they actually tell on the program.
The girlfriend at the beginning of episode 1 when she was 1st interviewed said he sold 2 grades of weed. Normal weed and Pharmaceutical grade from California. Keep up at the back old bean

Anyone else think the detectives were morons?

Using lots of personal opinions at times without actual evidence. All seem to want to outdo eachother to feed their own egos.

‘Medical grade’ is just the name for imported brand weed. Very popular and sells for a premium.
£2k a week turnover is fairly easy. £300/500 cash in pocket smoke as much weed as you want it’s all free it sounds good when you are young.

🤣 she also said he made 2k per week. It doesn't mean he did old bean. It wasn't medical grade from california, it was average orange bud put in little containers to sell to idiots to get an extra tenner a gram.
