No. There are many, many examples of good Policing we could cite. It's not a job I could do that's for sure.

My views on the way the Police interact with detainees do not make me anti-police I'm afraid - quite the opposite.

wtf. is she living in your head rent free?
No I included her as firstly she has been accused drink and drug driving on many occasions and driving will disqual and in the court of public opinion she has avoid prison too may times! I would argue unlike Adam she shows a pattern yet the judge deems her no risk and adam needs 22 months come on!

Her last car was rolled!

The irony of the guy who recognised him in the station who shouted "Dell you nonce!" considering the case... I wonder if that was just a random banterous insult or if he is already known for it on the street, he did already have previous.
Nope, I do not think it was banter. Being called a nonce is not something to joke with. He must have already of had a reputation on the street and people talk.

The police came off a bit better in last night's episode. The state of the law in this country though.

Clearly a serial groomer, paedophile, rapist, risk to young girls everywhere, and 14 years is the EXTENDED sentence... Out in 9. Hopefully our over stretched prison service will sort him out...

You do have to wonder about the mother of his girlfriend though...
In America and in some states he would have served over 20 years for what he had done. Guys like him do not last long in most wings. He already has a reputation of being a nonce before he was convicted.

Agreed, he had a reputation and was probably proud of it.
He was even prepared to offend with witnesses in the same room.

When he gets out after serving 9yrs he will be on the Sex Offenders register for life. This is no easy ride as he will be monitored by the Police, have to report any relationships, if he changes job, home, goes on holiday etc and will be subject to regular visits from Police "offender managers".

Going back to Adam, the 2 oxygen thief's and the screwed up system that is the Police and CPS. The police decided to peruse a charge for serious injury by dangerous driving, the CPS accepted he was found guilty and sent down for 22 months.

Yes Anne Sacoolas gets 8 months suspended for 12 months, for actually killing somebody and then doing a runner to the USA!

Exactly this. But you will have plenty on here telling you you’re wrong and that the 2 oxygen thieving scum bags are just misunderstood

Would be interesting to see the sentencing guidelines for:

injury by dangerous driving, and;
death by careless driving.

One has more intent about the causal side, but less serious effect.

And women always get less - you should know this by now surely? There's usually at least one story a week up here in the MEN about a woman that's escaped with a light sentence for any type of driving offence, despite a record of repeated offences.

i doubt very much the differences in sentencing in that particular instance have anything at all to do with gender

Guess so - think it must take months to complete and the “hit rate” must be very low.

There is a repeat on Wednesday night of the one with the surgeon. Very good episode and well worth a watch if you’ve not seen it.

Yep, apparently this season was only two episodes.

Having worked in media and knowing the challenges with legalities it's no surprise they only have small amounts of episodes.

Bit of an odd statement. This show is 10 seasons old, with on average over 6 episodes a season....
