The accused hasn’t (yet) come across as at all likeable. Nor his father. Nor his character witness friend.
Perhaps it’s just the editing, but I rather doubt that.
Doubt what?Perhaps it’s just the editing, but I rather doubt that.
The accused is coming across as being a total . Being very generous to the accused I pondered whether this might simply be down to the narrative of the production and in reality he might be less of a or not a at all.
But I doubted that was likely and that it’s probable he really is a . But I really shouldn’t judge in the absence of full knowledge.
I shall have to wait to see if he is a convicted murderer on top of being a (probable) total .
Apologies for the language.
I watched 'The Push' (2 x 90min episodes on Channel 4) today, interesting case. I've seen both the defence and prosecution barristers on other Scottish filmed court case shows over the past 12 months, I thought it was very telling that the defence barrister said afterwards that "Generally, justice is usually done". A nasty piece of work and it puzzled me why she put up with him for so long. His father seemed to more interested in getting the £6k+ ring back from the police.
The 2 'documentaries on 4 sponsored by Ford Transit' american accent person during every ad break is REALLY annoying though.

I didn’t explain myself very well.

It's okay to judge people you know, you don't have to wait for the verdict. The accused is coming across as being a total . Being very generous to the accused I pondered whether this might simply be down to the narrative of the production and in reality he might be less of a or not a at all.

What complete absolute scum demands a ring back off a dead person....oh yeh someone who did a good job at bringing up scum! I did see his eyes go into overdrive when they pulled up the evidence that the boy rang him rather than 999. You could see what level of cogs were whirling inside that disgusting driven brain. The 2 'documentaries on 4 sponsored by Ford Transit' American accent person during every ad break is REALLY annoying though.
It was a good two part series and interesting to be in the dock, why do we not do this in England is beyond me.
How did such an intelligent girl get pushed into this relationship so much, were the parents/family pushing her in that direction by giving her sht she she didn't need and he was pulling? We'll never know the full story.
Finished watching the Pilot Pt2 and I'll watch the Everard doc next as I didn't realise it also had interviews in it etc.

Hard to know where to begin, frankly.
But well done those 4 mums for doing the work the police should've been doing.
The truth no longer mattering is becoming more commonplace by the day. It's scary where that might lead...
fk me. The danger of frothy mentalists. Probably a few of the frothier PHers in the lynch mob. But well done those 4 mums for doing the work the police should've been doing.

Think there was a similar case in Italy a while ago. Documentary was on Sky - if it comes back to mind I'll post it.
(Edit to add: Valeno https://m.imdb.com/title/tt14497932/?ref_=ext_shr_...
There's a series on Crime+Investigation caked called Cops Gone Bad that may be of interest. I've downloaded it but not watched yet. Probably a different telling of familiar stories.
