You'd have thought they would have recognised the field.

Or the farmer would have known at least?

Silly sods.

They'll never live that down in the Two Brewers.

As long as they stayed out of the bottom paddock. Never dig in the bottom paddock.

My wife has the complete box set of this and we have watched it all over the last few nights. I have to say this is one of the best series I have watched for a long time and there were so many laugh out loud moments.

While I understand the desire for more of it, I think this can only ruin what was the perfect ending. Remember when they did this to Fools and Horses? So I say, no thanks, let me revel in the beauty of what we have.

I agree, much as I loved this series and still watch it, I don't want another series.

Leave it where it is, don't touch it.

You are making the assumption that a new series will be worse than the old ones. What if it is better?

And they still haven't found that Saxon ship burial from Series 1.

Leaving an audience wanting more is something few TV series do (especially American ones), but it's what they should ALL aspire to.

I think there's a perfect point to end it there, but a one off or a two-parter in five years time, could be brilliant.

I must admit it usually made me smile, but the auction had in me stitches! biggrin

There were some fantastic moments from the series that are implied not stated outright-

Shiela in the beer garden thinking about her lost child..

Lance while collapsed on the floor of his kitchen wondering whether he should fix the loose knob while he is down there...

Varda proposing to Louise in the background after she found the ring..

And the entire last episode of S3 was as perfect as TV gets.

"I hear you're good with gazebos?"

It is those subtleties that make it worth watching more than once as they can be easily missed first time round (I had to point out the proposal to hubby, I had guessed she would when she found the ring)

I really loved the Sheila and Terry characters. Underneath the slight eccentricities between them was a genuine, caring and respectful relationship. They clearly adored each other.

I thought the description suggested it was the most recent series? Andy living with mother in law. Haven't watched it yet so not sure.

It's the third and final series being repeated at the moment.
