Given how unreliable they portrayed it as in the series, I think they're asking for quite a lot.
Shame that they couldn't manage a photo of the signatures in the boot.
I did think of the curse that Lance had for a brief time when the TR ran roughly...Shame that they couldn't manage a photo of the signatures in the boot.
...as if being British Leyland wasn't enough of a curse to begin with!

Lance’s TR7 is being auctioned by Mathewson’s this month.

Wow, it sold for £30,200!!! Plus fees I guess.https://www.mathewsons.co.uk/auction/lot/236-1977-...
I'm not in touch with the market, but that seems strong money even with the TV show connection.

Is anyone revisiting this on Netflix.
Is it just me or have they added in bits that weren't in when it was on the BBC?

They're also on iPlayer, so you could check for continuity.

Right - deffo different.
When Lance finds the Status Quo badge 'In the Army' starts playing.
Not on Netflix it doesn't!
It is pretty standard for music to be stripped out of non original Netflix shows. When Lance finds the Status Quo badge 'In the Army' starts playing.

The BBC uses so much music that they are pretty much covered by a blanket licensing/rights agreement for the UK. Netflix wants one version of a show so it has the flexibility to use it in multiple territories. If the original production company or broadcaster doesn't have international rights to any music used it gets taken out.
Just finished it and it’s not bad (very) light entertainment.
The characters were good and it didn’t take itself seriously at all, so very easy to watch on the train or when just flicking through for something.
I see there’s a special of some sort, single episode, might give it a go but equally thought it concluded nicely, so maybe don’t want to ruin that.

Binge watched this on NF with the missus over the last week or so.
One of those rare programs where it feels very little happens, but also that you feel very connected to the characters. Very well written, shot and cast I think. Delightful and perhaps rose tinted view of life in the English countryside. Truly enjoyed it.

I loved it. I realised afterwards that one of the reasons I enjoyed it is that it's usually sunny weather. Rose-tinted is about right. One of those rare programs where it feels very little happens, but also that you feel very connected to the characters. Very well written, shot and cast I think. I've just started re watching it. I love this programme, there are some nice, clever touches like the missed flyover, the finding of a Jim'll Fix it badge. The script is just great. The only thing that grates on me is that German bloke. For some reason I think he spoils the bits he's in.
