Maxim looking unbeatable at the moment, early days though.
But can you guess why I would refuse to have tasted the food he cooked in the last session?

Because you don't eat pork, or, because like my wife, and Gregg it seems, "Surf & Turf" is an abomination? confused

I called it on the 3 going through even before the food was tasted. smile
Lot of fruit on Will.i.am's dish though, eh?

Nope. Nothing to do with the content of the food or similar personal taste. It was an absolutely disgusting habit that he seems to have got into. One of the most basic rules of hygiene in the kitchen was broken and my missus didn’t spot it either till I rewound the show a bit to point it out. When I see something like that, it makes me wonder wonder what the rest of his hygiene is like.

Max’s cooking skills were clear to see, BUT I would not have put a chef through who breaks a primary food safety rule by tasting food and throwing the spoon he has just had in his mouth back in the food he is going to serve to others.

There is a safe process for tasting food and double dipping the spoon has no part in it. redcardyuckvomit

Agree it’s a filthy habit, didn’t see Max do it but someone in last weeks show tested their dish that way, I’d like to see them wearing hats too.

Don't watch Marco or Boiling Point would be my suggestion. You'll have a seizure.
Oh - and don't go to any Michelin starred restaurants. Fingers dipped in sauces is not exactly unheard of.

I spotted that, also people wiping noses with hands and using fingers to arrange food on plates. Both just as unhygienic yuck

Loving watching these as usual but the facial expressions of Marcus, Greg and Monica during the skills test are just laughable.

- Chef does something exactly the way Monica did - Camera pans to Monica and Greg looking at each other with enthusiastic nods of the head and big sh*t eating grins.

- Chef does something that Marcus wouldn't do - Camera pans to Marcus shaking his head and looking at Chef like he's just been convicted of paedophilia.

I hate those hoops.
And his tw@tish moustache.
Sadly his food doesn’t seem to be particularly well thought through......
Yep; he needed to concentrate more on his food and less on trying to tick off every hipster cliche.

He's got more time on his hands to do so now...

He will make a small error in the critics round and will go out. Seems in this competition you are only judged on how good you are in a particular round, rather than your history in the competition.

Yep, one cool chef.

I thought Carla was going into meltdown, but seems to have regained her composure, well, almost.

Bit of a bizarre challenge from Marcus that seemed unknown by two and the one who said he knew it messed it up terribly, fried egg with egg sauce is a lot of egg.

Surprised that wasn’t a “fab-luss” from Marcus, but actually a “sensational”!

Good to see them fighting to finish a plate of food!!

Cannot see Dean ever doing a bad dish. Awesome confidence and calmness.
