I echo Marcuses remark on it being impossible to choose between them at this late stage in the competition - seems almost criminal that one of them will be going home tomorrow evening.

Regardless of the results yet to come, think Matthew will go on to become a star one day.

Finished that episode!

Missus asked me before it started who I think will win, and I said I'm going for Oli as he seems to be a bit under the radar but always puts something on the plate that the judges wonder how he did it. The others are all very talented, but Oli seems to have just a little edge to him that I miss in the others - he also seems to do it in a very unassuming way that surprises when they're not expecting.

I wonder if Dean was working at his best right from the start but as the others have grown, he hasn't the headroom to step up a gear to stay ahead. His dish was almost disappointing presentation wise and just didn't seem to be rounded.

Matthew is calm personified - very mature chef for his age. Very talented young man.

Laurence - Love him, megasweaty stress bunny but does some epic food. I'd have loved to have had his fish course - looked sublime, but I'm always a sucker for a deep bisque.

Great to see the respect and working for each other today.

Hope Oli wins, seems such a nice guy. I like Mathew too who will undoubtedly be successful. The last test is back in the MC kitchen though where Dean always seems to be at his best...
