Watched it this afternoon via iPlayer.

All the regular cast and what look like a couple of interesting story lines for the police and lawyers.

Great entertainment and so pleased its back on TV.
Superb characters.
Brilliant series and got my Saturday night planned out for the next few weeks unless I fall back on IPlayer. In the break since Series 4,Gilou amazingly seems to have got over his minor drug problem and Laure was soon putting it about a bit again.
Judge Robin is so shrewd he is,in my book, a candidate for Brain of Britain, and the red head Karlsson is so devious and sneaky, but a cracking figure like hers helps a lot with her career path.
Je suis Charlie eh ?

Wasn't expecting that ending when I watched it Sunday morning.

Roll on series 6, this is the best show by far on to for a long time.

I felt a bit shortchanged at the end.

The way they caught the gang was because the kidnapper's mother was in the incident room, caught sight of a video that was being played and recognised the location. What happened to detective work and clues and piecing things together frown

Spiral's not Poirot, sometimes a bit of luck comes into Police work, I'm sure, although overall everything seemed to happen rather quickly in the final episode.

I have to say I was disappointed overall this season. It's such a great show that this season felt very disjointed. The story line/season arc just felt rushed and poorly thought out. Not a patch on previous seasons.
Clement's death was surprising but understandable now he's starring in Mr Selfridge.

I do like how Karlsson's true nature won out in the end.

It did feel a bit like the writers suddenly realised it was the final episode and tried to tie everything up in a rush.

Did we ever find out if TinTin's wife gave the squad their car back?

She gave it back after she'd met him and told him that their marriage was over and she was moving away and taking the children with her

Why does the Judges's nose bleed ?

When will Laure stop checking her pants out ?

Will Christine do the dirty on somebody else ?

Plenty of loose ends for Series 6.

I do a French conversation class and the ladies there were all shattered when Pierre gets a life changing moment
( Notice I'm tactfully avoiding spoilers )

I was enjoying Laure doing that!

Josephine, surely, not Christine smile

Of course - I meant red head Joséphine ( Karlsson ) - the lovely Audrey Fleurot who turned heads in the Untouchables.

Pin-ups here.

I'm really enjoying this series. I recorded all the episodes then decided to watch 2 or 3 a day over the past few days. Still got a couple to go. I don't think it is as good as series 4 was though but still one of the best police series about. I hope they do a series 6.
