Well, there’s been zero chat on this series - only me (enjoyed it) and shakotan (didn’t enjoy it).
My one issue was that I had a question about the last scene.

Try not to get too upset Halb.
I'm not upset, but I'll comment on stuff I don't agree with

Go watch another episode - it’ll straighten you out.

No real story, nothing really happens, no tension or twists, nothing really sewn up at the end.

I found it short and insipid, not a patch on the first two series.

Just seemed liked then taken some of the tropes from the first two and threw them at a wall, hoping they'd stick.

I only learned by reading this thread that was the final episode! As you say, nothing tied up (apart from Natalie, obviously!) so, I just assumed there would be further episodes.

Bit of an anti-climax really.

Just binged watched all four.

How fking disappointing...
hmm so what's the consensus here? I watched series 1 and enjoyed it, although i have zero patience for Lost-like untied plot lines and stringing you along (which I sense a little in S1). I have had S2 saved on my planner for about a year and still haven;t watched it (not helped by other half not liking it much). Now S3 is on.

Better to give up and get 15 hours of my life back?

Honestly, I'd give S2 a go, but definitely don't bother with the S3 mini-series.

Honestly, I wouldn't bother, it doesn't add or resolve anything (apart from bring more confusion) regarding how the story was left at the end of S2.
Good to know, thanks

Was it always planned as only a 4 episode run? Did one of the cast do a Spacey or the production company fail? Is just doesn't make sense how it ended :-/

To be frank the only bits of series 4 that I enjoyed were the scenes including shots of the BV206.

For those who don't know what a BV206 is http://www.arctictracks.com/hagglunds-bv206/

I'd urge caution, clicking that link redirected me to a spam site.

For anyone who really liked the first series of this, I would highly recommend The Terror, it is £20 to buy the 10 episodes on Amazon, but we loved it.

Sorry, my system detected no issues which is still the case, it's a Canadian site selling Hagglund Bandvagn.

Also on Brave, plus bells and whistles paid for security software here. So as you say, odd.

Dennis was desperate to show us he had spent hours in the gym, he must have been directing the tensing and clenching....bizarre.

We've just finished watching the third series and I enjoyed it. Part of my enjoyment was listening to my gf say "holy f..k" constantly from her viewing position behind the couch. This programme is just nuts, God knows what the script writers are on. Reindeer juice maybe?

The end didn't annoy me at all, prob because I'd read this thread beforehand. Do we know when the next (final?) series is due? It felt like a mid season break that they do in America for some reason, and that the second half has already been filmed.

I don't usually go for programmes that are just mad but this one has me hooked for some reason.
