Wheeler Dealers are back.

While I'm thinking of it, is this the Fiat Dino Brewer drove back from Italy a few years ago?

The giveaway is the centre console. They replaced the original faded wooden veneer with black Vinyl so I'd say it's the samePH Classifieds link
The dealer is taking the pee with the asking price. They sold it for £25k and it's not appreciated by that much in 5 years.
WHEELER DEALERS FINISHED!!!.........Apparently.
Just seen a funding pitch by Attaboy productions, the makers of Wheeler Dealers, on my FB page. They're pushing another car restoration package. In the accompanying blurb, they mention that? "It's the end of the road for us. We won't be producing any more episodes" of Wheeler Dealers.
This could mean one of two things. Either WD is finished. Or, another production company is taking over.......

High octane Sales Team? Seriously? That puts me off even before the price.
Edit: I also notice it has "13600 kilometres miles" which reads almost like one of Sniff Petrol's car adverts.

Watched this one again recently, I'm still puzzled as to why Brewer wanted to ditch the original orange carpet for a new black one. Fabulous car though. Certain episodes of WD are worth repeated viewings, I always enjoy watching the one they did on the Lamborghini Urraco.
Agreed. The Fiat Dino and the Lamborghini Urraco episodes are my two faves, and I have watched them both many times. ClockworkCupcake said:

Agree on the US shows, although I enjoyed the Porsche 912 episode.
Re the Ferrari 308GT4 / Fiat Dino / Urraco episodes - there's always a feel good factor when they plump for European exotica, I wish they'd do more of these. I shan't hold my breath though, the days of finding a decent Italian V6 or V8 project for around £20k are probably long gone! Would love to see them tackle a Merak, Bora, or even a V12 Espada...

was it the Quattraporte show where he went to a guy working in a shed? I love seeing stuff like that the Lambo stuck against the wall with square tyres was also a great show.Re the Ferrari 308GT4 / Fiat Dino / Urraco episodes - there's always a feel good factor when they plump for European exotica, I wish they'd do more of these. I watched the old Lotus Elan episode the other day. What spoils it for me is when in a long shot of the car a particular component can be clearly seen fitted and then later Edd is shown fitting it. Why isn't the programme in the correct order.
On the Lotus edition he was shown fitting a yellow rear plate but when it was at Gurston it had a black and white one. Is it just bad continuity?

Sealed unit according to Maserati but all the guy did was heat the seal and bingo it popped open, also from memory I think he just changed a few magnets inside all for the bargain price of £300 or £400. Unit from Maserati was something stupid like £3k.
I seem to recall it was a sliding potentiometer with a carbon track, and the carbon wears away. It was indeed something ridiculous like £2k-odd, and a sealed unit with tamper-proof fixings. A quite breathtaking example of price gouging, as once the man in the shed had opened it up, it was a fairly trivial fix. The whole car was a bodge job when they bought it - one of the two throttle pots had failed and someone had bodged it so the remaining one was supplying signal for both rather than replacing the failed one.
I found the whole episode rather depressing actually, not only because of how many bodges that Edd had to fix, but also the fact that Maserati had designed so many things to be expensive to replace for no other reason than shafting customers in the wallet.
