to the chick fest of the blonde lass... sounds a bit jimmy savillish i know, but how cute was she?!
the shame of it was that as someone said in an earlier post, that one comment could mean her getting the sack... :-s

Interesting programme, though. I have to admit to being partial to a bit of KFC now and again, despite not particularly enjoying McDonald's or Burger King. Some of the stuff they do in their US restaurants is delicious!

Just watching this on the iPlayer.
The MD Martin has just said something like "The most important person in our business is the restaurant manager".
I alway thought the most important person in any business is the customer.
Nope, from the boss' point of view good staff are always more important than the customer. The MD Martin has just said something like "The most important person in our business is the restaurant manager".

The customer arrives as a natural consequence of the good staff.

Plenty to laugh at on this but the attitude of some of the younger staff members is promising.
Plenty of "it's better than the dole" type comments. Not sure that would be the case 5-6 years ago....
I agree with that. Plenty of them wanting to just pay their way in life or use it as a stepping stone. It may be low pay but it beats doing a pointless degree that leads to nothing.Plenty of "it's better than the dole" type comments. Not sure that would be the case 5-6 years ago....

The way they make the gravy nearly made me vomit.
I agree, I used to like the gravy, not any more now I know how the dirty bds make it!Took the kids to KFC in Bury a few weeks ago, couldn't fault the burger but the place is an absolute st hole. Went to the gents with my daughter and I wouldn't let her use it as the toilet was so filthy. But as mentioned, minimum wage employees aren't going to put much effort in!

Bit O/T but when I've been into a KFC in Jamaica you get a better wider choice of drinks and free refills and a choice of traditional KFC flavour or BBQ. This in a 3rd world country yet not available here?
In South Africa you get a Hawaiian Burger, which is basically a tower burger with a slice of pineapple rather than a hash brown or whatever it is that gets shoved in in the UK. It's very civilized. There also appears to be some sort of burger with Doritos in it - freaks - http://www.kfc.co.za/c/menu/by/group/burgers/
