I reckon some one like Bradley Cooper would make a great "younger" Solo....looks, charisma, humour....
if there are to be further iterations of the franchise set before A nne Hope i.e.in between episodes three and four then there is plenty to go at.
There was always that feeling with Han in the Diner when he meets guido that here was a character we felt like we already knew, the characterisation and delivery pulled that off even in that first scene....

I don't like Cooper, though I don't dislike him. I would prefer a newbie myself. Someone who can get the feel of the character, as opposed to doing a straight Harrison impression, but a tad of Ford needs to be in there. That casting will be so tough.
So nothing like McGregor's awful showing in the prequels.
