My Mrs and I watched 4 episodes last night, was slow to start but really got into it now. Thoroughly enjoying it.

Spotted that, also I like the way he mentioned the fat bob breakfast cap then his dad's mate came in with one on.

Watched all 6 this morning; wasn't so sure during the first episode but it soon hit its stride. Peter's laughter at the end of the second episode is infectious as hell - I haven't laughed that hard in a long time smile

After reading this thread - have also watched all 6 episodes.
Enjoyed it smile

Surprised that it's being shown on i-player before it's proper BBC1 debut.

Nice chemistry between Paul and ginger milf, I read they are friends in real life.

Hope he does more as its the best thing he has done since Pheonix Nights.

I've never liked Peter Kay but he's won me over with this, I think it's a work of comedy genius. Loved seeing Mick Miller too and his Big Boy baseball cap and I think I have nearly every song that they played, in my itunes library.

Simply wonderful. I have watched them on the iPad and I'm now watching with the Mrs and it's even better.

Just really captivating and really funny. I wonder how much is scripted and how much improvised with a basic framework to work within. I can believe they are friends in real life too.

One to recommend without hesitation.

Very good so far. There are lots of tiny details going on in the background like cameos, road signs and other goodies.

I honestly didn't clock that that it wasn't the real Anastasia in E1 - thought she was swinging her hips beautifully.

The bit where he tripped running back from the post box had me doubled up and out of breath from laughing. Not sure why as it was just a simple gag, but it worked. Fast forwarded through the dream/song sequences, just didn't see the point of them.

Not as funny as Phoenix Nights or Max and Paddy, but still quite enjoyable. Looking forward to series 2 (if there will be one) as presumably she will be moving in with him.

All six episodes are on iplayer for a limited period before it hits BBC1.

Just watched a couple. Was a bit boring for the first half of the first episode but I've seem to have got into it as the two develop a relationship.

Is it wrong that I've developed a bit of a crush on the redhead??
Do you know when this is on iplayer till? Love this

We loved this! Very very funny.

I'd really like to see another series. There's potential for the story to continue methinks!
