Last nights episode...
Kayleigh's walking to the bus stop, talking to Kay on the phone...
Kayleigh: 'yeah I couldn't sleep, our Mandy's got thin curtains'
Kay: 'she's got what now?? laughlaugh

The music on Forever FM was heavily biased to a 'will-they, won't they' storyline but I still enjoyed it.
As this was filmed last year, the George Michael bit, (he's another one gone), was added post-production and you can't actually see them speaking the lines about it.

I agree it went a little flat in the middle, but the relationship between the two is excellent, really believable and, as usual, there's plenty of little background jokes as well (I came on to post about the Shaun Ryder Rehab Centre, but was beaten to it by seconds biggrin)

All the pie mentions in the background when they're in Wigan 'Cash4Pies' 'No pies left in this vehicle overnight' - The monkey was brilliant!

It is proving to be a hit, saw a few reviews and comments on FB, does appeal to quite a wide cross section of the community, quite a hard target with what is fairly gentle humour, I had kind of pegged Peter Kay as "Garlic Bread" etc, a decent comedian, but I think has has quite a lot more going on than that. He doesnt pop up everywhere, I like that and generally what he does is good, this is real feel good telly.

Doesnt she look great when made up, she made a very passable Cyndi Lauper in the first series.

The will they/wont they is quite reminiscent of Tim and Dawn in the office.

I've just realised that Sian Gibson was one of the wheelchair-bound girls in " Two Up, Two Down". Weren't they runners-up to Geraldine?

Anybody notice the learner driver - Samuel Jackson, with the red learner L in the middle

Watched the whole thing last night. Loving all the sly little pie references in the Wigan episode - I'll say no more but noticed loads

Pity it's only 4 episodes, needs a bit more for me (but not saying anything else as don't want to spoil it for anyone)

There was a new one lastnight? Missed that, thought they were repeats of the first series.

I haven't seen the first series, and just watched Ep 1 of this 2nd series. I really enjoyed it. I like the unhurried nature of it, it was amusing and warm and made me feel good. And the cyclist / youtube bit was good.

I was thinking the same. It is all set up for this and a running theme throughout the whole 2 series would make this a fitting conclusion.

Watched the first one last night and the rest this evening. Absolutely LOVED the whole scene with the monkey/s, amazing tv.

The relationship between them is brilliantly done and very real feeling, really sweet and also quite sad. Last episode is great but very much hoping they make some more at some point now!

Just watched the last two episodes........ four episodes of this is not enough! Some classic moments, some sad too. Can't say too much without spoilers but as said the monkey was brilliant, cracked up at him singing White Lines to his Nan laugh We need another series or at least a few Christmas Specials
