Used to love Spooks on tv, the film is out on 8th May. I have free tickets for a preview on 4th May. Good to see Harry is in it, the only character (I think) that was in all the tv episodes- everyone else got killed off in an inventive manner - like being shoved face first into a deep fat fryer

Harry's new sidekick can't be much good as a spook. He knows nothing. Looking forward to seeing this.

http://www.fmuk.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=31525

if you register on FMUK, it lists all the free previews coming up and can be set to email you- all tickets are gone for spooks now
There are also previews next Sunday which can be won in a competition through o2 priority moments

Saw the film this morning and was very good. Good to see a decent spy film set in the uk
nice little appearance from a long standing character as well

I was hoping to see this at the advance preview on the 30th but had a prior engagement. Looking to go as soon as I'm back home.

I'm not sure what it is about Spooks, but I really liked it. Just silly enough on the tech side to be enjoyable and with a real British flavour.

The hot oil death is one scene that has consistently stuck with me since I first saw it. Uniquely evil!

FFS! Please use spoiler tags! Some of us haven't seen it yet!

Yes, yes - "well, don't read the thread then" - except that nobody mentioned that it might contain spoilers and we might like to know if it's worth seeing without knowing any details of what happens.

It clearly states no spoilers in the thread title. How hard is it to respect the OP's wishes?

Spoiler tags don't work on mobile either so they don't help.

I never watched the TV series but decided to watch this last night as it was on Sky. Really liked it. Sort of a cross between Tinker Tailor Solider Spy and the Bourne films.

Might look out the TV show in DVD and watch that now.

Like the Jags with the Glock 9s in the centre arm rest too. Could do with one of those for my commute.

First few series were superb, tailed a off a bit towards the end.

They're re-showing the TV series at 9pm on Saturday evenings on Drama at the moment. I think we're part-way through the second series now, it started around the end of January.
