I caught last weeks episode by chance and really enjoyed it. It's a show I would never watch going by the description, but it was so odd and funny it worked.

For those that missed it, a "celebrity" helps solve a murder. It's improvised with impersonators playing other celebrities in normal roles that you would find in a crime drama/comedy.

I haven't explained it very well, this is a clip of last weeks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VURysreXmoI

Yep, its odd but I liked it a lot. The 'celebrity' doesn't know whats going on, gets told what to do and has to solve the case. Greg James the Radio 1 DJ and Deborah Meaden from Dragons Den are in the next ones, Dermot O'Leary is in it later on (He's in the advert for it).

I watched the episode, first ? with the idiot off Made in Chelsea.

Not sure he knew what was going on.

Actually neither did I have much of a clue.

BTW it's Successville.

Thanks for the heads-up on this. I saw a trailer for it then totally forgot about it! It sounds like a modern version of Whodunit? from the early 80s (or possibly before, I was too young to pay much attention). Also similar to Simon Brett's "Foul Play" that sometimes gets repeated on BBC Radio 4 Extra. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00dm3jm

To be fair I think Tom Davis the detective bloke is about 2 feet taller than everyone else too smile

I did think it was Jay Zed because Cheryl Fernandez Panini seemed obvious. Old scout leader Boris Johnson was great hehe

I tracked down a clip from Whodunnit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xb4zIBcaCWg

I have to say, the intro and (especially) the front row of the audience look like they a spoof comedy sketch!

It was OK, she couldn't take it seriously at all. The bit with the golf clubs cracked me up hard though.
