I think it's fair to say Sinitta doesn't do a lot of cooking.
I think that's very fair to say. I spent a couple of days with her last year including a day in a box at Ascot. She's not stupid, in fact she had a very good, private education. She is quite removed from the mundanities of our normal lives but is aware of the challenges of bringing up kids in today's world. We spent a lot of time chatting about our children, iPads and stuff like social media. Like me she wants to protect them and ensure they don't grow up too fast.

Like many celebs she is rather self absorbed. It is about her and although she asks questions, active listening isn't one of her strong points.

She deserved to go tonight.

Is she as attractive in person? I can't quite believe she is 52.

She does look younger than her years with very good skin. That's what a stress-free life plus access to good nutrition, skin care and grooming products gets you. Might have had a bit of work done...

I don't think she was actively listening to Gregg and John's criticisms at any rate. She had this hurt/baffled expression that suggested she truly didn't understand why she'd cocked-up on such a massive scale.

It's painful watching when no one seems to have a clue as to what they are supposed to be doing.

ETA: Having said that; the lads seem to know what they are doing.

Well it's nice to have something other than the Referendum.......

It's a bit "Management-Course-Build-A-Raft".......

But quite good as a concept.....

Then the output is just likely to be parc - so ..... why?

That would explain the feeling of familiarity I was experiencing. hehe

Plenty of seasoning should make a difference then. But yeah, I can see where team building would be of benefit in the kitchen.

Thinking back to the last episode; the highlight for me was when Tommy started tucking into the overcooked rabbit in the commercial kitchen. biggrin

I've never heard of any of these 'celebs', I must lead a very sheltered life.

A right old hotchpotch indeed. biggrin A shame there are no celebrity accountants as they should do well on here.

Am I to assume there are no slebs on this year with a genuine interest in cooking?
I enjoy the other two formats but this one just doesn't seem to serve up as much interest, for me anyway.

"You've all done very well!"

I've only heard of the vicar before - but only because I hate the Saturday morning programme...... He's definitely a "people person" though and if he does well he'll be modest and if he's trashed by everyone he'll know magnanimity to the nth degree and make a very "nice" programme! Will follow this...

I simply must write in and asked for the recipes for the two puddings, they looked delicious.

No need to go to the trouble of writing - I'll post them on here as my wife serves them up at home.....

rofl

As long as your wife is in the kitchen creating such wonders, and not on here reading about them, you should be OK. biggrin

BBC2 this evening and no, I don't know who the celebrities are either.
