IIwas saved by a manual choke, my student car accelerator pedal fell off so drove around using the choke as an accelerator pedal!

Running over the bikes is a reminder of what had gone wrong with Top Gear though - never understood that type of "fun". Maybe just me, but not needed.

what a bleak dreary program. would have been far better without May and Hammond attempting to segway the prerecorded stuff, and just left it as a couple of features.

Exactly this. The same happened in one of the other recent programme when they just trashed other cars. Its like they had just given up and weren't bothered any more.
