I've decided to watch season 2 again, feels like I've forgotten most of it as I started to watch ep1 s3.
Im 95% sure i watched at all s2, but the 'previously on WW' s3 ep1 i didn't recall half the stuff going on there. Sadly i found S2 such a mess I'm not sure I be bothered to sit through it all again. Maybe S3 will sit as a standalone but i strongly doubt it sadly. It's a shame as i think the story was probably strong enough to make a good series without all the confusing timeline hopping. dieselgrunt said:

I will give this a try later, but if it turns into yet another 'All men bad (white men especially), all woman great' series, I will give the rest a miss.
Lol, the first 10mins is exactly that.I do hope that with so many 'woke' Hollywood films flopping hard, they will start to make more balanced films/series. I sat though every episode of series 2 and wish I hadn't. Not making the same mistake with series 3, which seems to be more of the same, but with the woman robots being even more over powered, and they strut around, righting the wrongs of the hateful patriarchy, presumably to sate Hollywood's collective fake guilt on how they themselves treat people..

I also found the dialog muffled causing me to miss parts of it.
Glad it wasnt just me.. I ended up switching between the Sky and Downloaded version and even got my home cinema remote out to alter sound modes to they and stand a chance of hearing what was going on dialogue wise. Was worried I was simply getting old!

Im 95% sure i watched at all s2, but the 'previously on WW' s3 ep1 i didn't recall half the stuff going on there. I struggled to watch. It wasn’t particularly engaging and I ended up half watching.
It’s now so far removed from the beautiful scenery, gratuitous nudity, stellar Hopkins and twisting but understandable story that made me watch s1.
It was only Peter Mullen that saved s2 from being a complete waste of time.
I will no doubt watch the next episode, but I think I’m better off just watching s1 then leaving it there.

Same here. Maybe it's previously in the future?Flumpo said:

This is kind of how I’m assuming to feel about it. Not sat down and watched yesterday’s yet. Hoping to be surprised but the beauty and suspense of S1 seems a long time ago now. It’s now so far removed from the beautiful scenery, gratuitous nudity, stellar Hopkins and twisting but understandable story that made me watch s1.

Aaron Paul has put some weight on since Breaking Bad. He looked bored all the way through it.
As mentioned, i had the volume waayy up and could barely hear it.
Seems more of the same as S2, henchmen who can't shoot for toffee and an incomprehensible plot. But the cinematography was lovely.

Dear God, the audio really was bad. Someone turned the bass up to eleventy-million and you literally couldn't work out what was being said...
I like the themes building about the corruption of money and the origins of the AI, but they're somewhat hackneyed at this point.
Hopefully they sort the audio out for next week. If not, it's going to be too much trouble to watch / try to listen to.

I’ll go against the grain and say I enjoyed it. Agree that S2 was a right mess, but this has started more promisingly for me. Nothing revolutionary about it, angry main protagonist getting even with some baddies and a soon to be capable sidekick with a load of emotional baggage.
The comments about multiple storylines being confusing is a bit bizarre, S1 was multiple storylines set in multiple timelines, none of which really made any sense at all until the last few minutes of the series and few were complaining about that. I wonder if the complaints are more because there’s a woman as the main character. The uproar over it being woke is pretty pathetic and wonder how some of you get on in the real world when you come across a woman.

...oh and for using a lightly disguised 918 Spyder
Actually, that car confused me. It looked just like a normal 918 to me, but was a long tail?
(the fact that I was paying that much attention to the cars (like the upgraded screens in the Land Rover, for example) was probably down to me not being able to hear the story...)
Just watched it, and enjoyed it! S2 was a bit of a confusing mess but Ep1 of S3 seemed pretty straight forward and telling the story in pretty much the same timeline, albeit switching between the 3 main protagonists. I can't remember how Dolores ended up being shot in S2, her "brain ball" thing being moved into the host version of corporatebhboss, and Dolores still getting off WW but I guess I'll just have to go back to the last ep of S2 and catch up.
Enjoyed this. Not as much as S1 but its early days and I hope there's actually a bit of original WW to come.
Also watched it with subtitles - wasn't just the audio; there seemed to be a lot of mumbling too.
