Agree with your Logan review, I watched it last night and thought it was great.
The character study superhero films are always the best. Iron Man 3, the Nolan Batman films, etc. There's no need to constantly blow stuff up and use CGI in every frame, as seeing the heros struggle with who they are is much more interesting.

Also you should probably re-watch Iron Man 3 & the Nolan Batman films if you think there isn't a lot of CGI things blowing up
Hidden Figures - 9/10. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4846340/
Thoroughly enjoyed this. Great performances.

Popstar - Never Stop Never Stopping.
Watched this last night. What a strange film, but I did ultimately find it very funny with some hilarious cameo's. 7/10.

I'm a big fan of Andy Samberg so I absolutely loved this film, had me laughing a lot. Also worth checking out 'Hot Rod' (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0787475/) if you liked this (and Anchorman). Judgement in Berlin (1988)
East Germans, seeking flight to the West, hijack Polish airliner & force a landing in West Berlin. Following a recent agreement with Warsaw Pact countries regarding aircraft hijackings the US convene a court to try the hijackers – Martin Sheen plays the Judge.
Based on the true story of LOT Flight 165 hijacking in August 1978; interesting from a historical court-drama perspective & filmed in late ‘80’s Berlin so some good footage of Templehof Airport and The Wall (plenty of background continuity errors as well).

Baby Driver
Awful. Mostly because it's just another small but significant addition to the gun culture that America can't shake. And that's all it is. This time we get a pumping sound track with the gunshots perfectly timed to match the beats of great songs, from soul to classic Focus. It's all sooooo cool.
The good guys don't matter - they are just shot dead with abandon. It's a glossy cop-killer movie with a heart-of-gold-BS character at the centre of it. The female actors are just there as weak motiviation devices for the men. The back story to the 'hero' is pathetic, and the whole happy ending only works if you forget the many years of scumbag behaviour of the hero.
The signposting for the denouement of the baddest baddie was so bleedin' obvious that I got impatient waiting for it to happen. I won't bother to go into the unrealistic stuff.
2/10
(I can only believe that Spacey had an unexpected tax bill to cover.)

Baby Driver. Thanks for that.
I have tickets for tonight but luckily with my bad memory I will view an unbiased mind!
I like a good soundtrack and hopefully this won't disappoint in that respect.
Apologies - I didn't think I was spoiling (other than explaining my rating), but I've edited my comment now.I have tickets for tonight but luckily with my bad memory I will view an unbiased mind!

Er... enjoy!
I'm right down the middle with Baby Driver. I liked that they tried something a bit different, a bit more stylistic. It's not completely a Fast and Furious type deal, more Drive mixed with a bit of style from Guardians of Galaxy.
The story was weak though and the stylistic approach disappeared in the third act. A bit of a mish mash, I'd give it 6/10.
