I thought I recognised that guy from somewhere and then remembered he was the guy Annie dropped over a cliff in commando. "I let him go" lol
Was that the one with "You said you were going to kill me last!" ... "I lied."

A slip from an Architect who draws for a living and who should no better as I rightly applaud the pedantic spelling corrections seen on other threads.

Atomic Blonde
Saw this last night. A bit lost at times with SO MANY characters/names - but overall not bad imo. Also quite a clever ending. And to top it off Charlize Theron is cloud9
7/10
agree with that summary and score, not particularly stretching, but a superior example of the spy/action/Bourne genre

you failed to mention the excellent soundtrack which was a highlight for me - Stigmata (unfortunately the MM version not the Ministry original), New Order, Bowie, Siouxsie etc

Captain Fantastic. Viggo Mortenson bringing his family from their idealistic, hippie, cabin in the woods, upbringing to mainstream society to bury their mother, and the transformations the culture clash triggers. Heart warming, funny in places. 8/10.

I really should read Moby Dick

Don't- it's the most tedious book I've ever read. It was a real struggle to finish it...

Mr Nice

Good performance by Rhys Iifans (wasn't sure how that was going to work out)...

...although I knocked it off 15 mins before the end

Logan Lucky. 9/10

A great entertaining bank heist film. Both of us walked out saying how its been a long time since we had just a really enjoyable film.

Watched Taxi Driver again , 70s are my favourite era for films. Started to get gritty and not always with a happy ending.
Also Last House on the Left and House on the Edge of the Park, both starring David Hess, playing very similar roles.

Read the book. Fab.

The film? Not so much. Only seen a few little bits but looked very, how shall I say, surreal, and not the way I think that story should've been told. It had the potential to be very good indeed but the way it was made just ruined it for me.

The 70's had a real thing for downbeat endings!

The Secret of my Success. On Sony movies, Michael J Fox and Helen Supergirl Slater. Not seen it for a while but it's still a fun romp.

Inception. Dream within a dream action film, with DiCaprio and many others. Very good. 9/10.
