The Secret of my Success. On Sony movies, Michael J Fox and Helen Supergirl Slater. Not seen it for a while but it's still a fun romp.

RIP Aunt Vera.

Watched it a couple of days ago. It's a really shame MJF was stopped so early in his career, he's very easy to watch.

The Wolverine (the one set in Japan)

It was on telly the other night and I recorded it and watched it tonight.

Rather silly and over-the-top formulaic stuff. It was ok but nothing brilliant. More Adam Ant than Adamantium.

One of my Fave's from that era - Helen Slater was stunning.

After the Dark / The Philosophers 2014

Expected this to be a complete snorefest..

a bunch of know it all - seen everything - done everything american teens doing what they do best... annoying the hell out of me.
But it was actually a really good film that was interesting and great to watch.

You could probably stop the film 10mins before the end though

7/10 from me

American Pie on Sunday night.

Meant to be a comedy classic. I think I must be getting old.

A generous 3/10

I know what you mean. What seems fresh, humorous and cutting edge at the time seems a bit tedious and stupid now.

Raises a few smiles but nothing like it did when it was first released.

The Hitmans Bodyguard.

Not an Oscar winner by any stretch, but it was probably the most enjoyable film of the year so far for me.

Sam L Jackson is turned up to 11 and Ryan Reynolds reprises Wade Wilson well.

There's really good chemistry between the actors, good (realistic dare I say?) stunts and never a dull moment.

Heavy use of my Bmw X5 too wink

Plus Elodie Yung (Elektra from daredevil) is in it, so I'm giving it an 8/10

I'm going to give it a 5/10. Poor acting, very scripted but managed to kill a few hours whilst I was hungover.

Very scripted? You know how films work, right?

Watched Manchester by the sea the other night.

A well acted little drama, interesting plot and enjoyable.

Maybe it's my age but after seeing films like these I can't help but think I could have used the 100 minutes doing something useful!

Interested to hear what others thought of it.?

7.5/10

He is still active. Appears frequently in The Good Wife (which is an excellent show with a rubbish name).

I'd give it a 6 - SLJ turned up to 11 is bloody annoying IMHO, and most of his lines were unfunny or cliche. RR was doing a milder Deadpool but at least has the ability to deliver a funny line properly and he was good. Overall it was low quality but fun and my low expectations were satisfied.

Atomic blonde

Very stylish reminded me of watchmen and john wick. It was a lot more violent than I expected in fact it's one of the most violent films I've seen in years. Highly recommended.

I thought I was going to die of boredom.
I turned it off when I ran out of time but felt I should go back and watch the other half.
I did and wished I hadn't so i went and did something useful, as a penance.

Enjoyed it a lot. Casey is one of the finest actors in H.Wood imo. His brother could learn a thing or 50 from watching him.
