I don't watch tv, I find it really hard work, I loath advertising, but am fascinated by the people who come up with them!

SO films are the only thing, I find box sets mostly tiring and repetitive and also fairly predictable for the most part, so movies are my big screen thing.

But I don't watch horror as that genre produces about 1 good fiul every 5 years! Comedy is tough, prefer comedians. SO action, thrillers, sci fi, adventure are my things.

And there are gems among them, and I give most things a try!

Thanks for the insight into your viewing habits, would you care to share the gems that you've discovered as I also like the same genres as you....

"Drone" - Looking past Sean Beans dodgy american accent it was OK. Slow burner with a decent story.

Really enjoyed it, one of the best films I have seen this year

8/10
Caught this today, seconded. Great pace to it, well shot, well performed. Well worth 2 hours.

Mrs phazed was keen on Murder on The Orient Express so with reservations,we saw it last night.

Mistake. It was like a TV drama displayed on the big screen.

A plethora of half decent actors set in beautiful surroundings playing out a well worn scenario with typical stage type acting.

The sort of film to sit and watch with your aunt although she would probably nod off half way through.

A disappointing 5/10

They had Paddington 2 on at the same time, after seeing the trailer we realised we had chosen the wrong film as it looksed very entertaining!

Just got back from seeing Murder (Muhhrrrdah) On The Orient Express. I may be the only person in the UK, or perhaps the world, to have enjoyed it! laugh

Maybe I'm actually someone's Great Aunt. It would explain my liking for shawls and blackberry jam. frown

midnight run - always enjoyable

Hot tub time machine - for some reason this was MUCH funnier than the first viewing. I especially liked the nod to HST by Cusack. The entire flick does have an 80's style script, but I think it works very nicely for a modern take on the genre.

Nice to see some titties in this day and age also.

Which reminds me....

Trading Places. smile

Love that movie.

Why don't you quit smoking? It'd be cheaper for both of us.

Why are you so unpopular with the Chicago police department?

In my top ten films of the 80s...and in my opinion, De Niro's best comedy, and yeah, I've seen King of Comedy.

Braveheart. Difficult to ignore the liberties taken with actual history, but quite enjoyable. 7/10

The Bourne Legacy

This is the one with Jeremy Renner rather than Maaaaat Daaaaamon.

My gods what a pile of crap that was; two hours of my life wasted. Some might call it slow-moving, but I found it utterly soporific, and by the time the 'climax' of action arrived at the end in the Philippines I was so completely uninvested that I was fast forwarding.

I would not recommend it.
