A bunch of films have been added, some are the Odeon Screen Unseen films from early on last year...

Mindhorn
Free Fire
Arrival
A Monster Calls
Mindhorn is a bit of fun. It's not great but it's amusing enough and good natured, it also has a TR7 and an XJ-S in so gets points for that.

Arrival is great; proper high concept Sci-Fi.

Bought Free Fire on BluRay...haven't watched it yet and now it's on Amazon for free! Gah.

Anyone watched 'The Marvelous Mrs Maisel'? A comedy drama about a perfect jewish housewife whose husband leaves her and she stumbles on to a stage and turns out she is pretty great at stand up comedy.

Lenny Bruce is a character in it, Tony Shaloub is in it, the girl who is the lead is great. Plus she gets her boobs out in the first episode, if you need a bit of a push to give it a go hehe

(I am reliably informed by the OH they are a pretty magnificent pair! eekhehe)
I've just finished watching this series. Really enjoyed it. Makes a change from the usually quite dark Amazon originals! Oh and they are most definitely a magnificent pair!

It's actually very good. Quite emotional but fun as well.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but Tom & Jerry smile My kids have always loved it and we've found the originals. The '40s ones are brilliant but the weird '60s and '70s ones are horrendous...

That's a film I never want to watch. Not a fan of horror films anyway.

That's brilliant! Thank you. biggrin

I did not know that Cat Concerto won an Oscar, blimey. It is rather wonderful. Apparently it is what got Lang Lang into playing piano when he was 5!

Started ‘Loudermilk’

Finding it very funny and entertaining so far - the main character reminds me a little of Rake (another show if you have not seen already that is worth watching..)

Land of Mine

A group of pitifully young German POWs are conscripted to clear mines on the Danish coast.

Brutal and moving in equal measure. Not to mention superbly acted.

8.5/10

I'm enjoying it (2 eps in) ... touches of Paul Simon meets Woody Allen.

One of the episodes she's doing a pisstake of a Jewish female New Yorker, and it's 100% Lois.
