Sorry if it's already been mentioned, but the entrire box set of The X-Files is on Prime.
All 218 episodes.
I've started working my way though them, on the first series now.
Magnificent.
Like being 13 again. I watched an episode every Friday night on good old analogue Sky.
Oh dear I could probably have done without knowing this! I might even understand some of it this time around. All 218 episodes.

Well, in my experience the last few times I've loaded up Amazon, that's exactly what I've found. I've found myself searching and searching for something that sparks an interest, and invariably on Amazon, the last few times this has happened, I've clicked on the summary and its popped up with an extra charge for a sub or rental fee. I'm just saying it how it is from my use, your experience may be different to mine. I'm more than happy to watch something obscure, but it has to interest me first.
Ah, I think that is the key difference then. If you go looking for a specific film, especially if it is less popular, then you will probably find it is not included in Amazon Prime Video.
If you browse the "included in Amazon Prime Video" sections, or limit your search to only return matches that are included in Amazon Prime, then you're far more likely to find something that is included.

Despite being hooked on them as a teenager (as everyone was) and drooling over Gillian Anderson's regular appearances in FHM magazine, I sometimes struggled with the complex storylines and multiple characters involved.
But.. watching them again at my own leisure, 20 years later and in glorious HD, you realise how excellent the X Files really are.
Brilliant storylines and complex writing, great characters, plot twists, elaborate sets and locations, and loads of things you didn't notice previously.
It makes terrific viewing as an adult.
Enjoy!
(All 183 hours of it...)

I tried (re)watching the X-Files recently - found it nowhere near as good as I remembered. Only watched a couple and gave up.
I think it's like any series really, you have to get past the first 2 or 3 and then you get hooked. But I suppose it all depends on what you enjoy.
If UFO's, Men in black, and government conspiracies aren't your thing then it's probably best avoided!

Watched the first two episodes of Purge last night.
WTF?
Worth it?WTF?
There does seem to be story building (or several), of sorts, but it is definitely different.
Just not sure whether to class it as pretty good, or complete crap.
With regards paying for shows, does anyone find it keeps changing? I've been watching Tanked for free and then all of a sudden the other day I was expected to pay for it, even shows I've already watched. Today however, free again.
Then I started watching Diesel Brothers, again for free... Now I can only watch if I pay per episode! I'm hoping this will sort itself out as I've been enjoying it!

And they wonder why people still use torrents.
House MD. Thought I’d watch it again. 177 episodes. £1.89? Is that per episode???
£335
The box set on blu-ray is £60.
Great programme (not that price, mind). Have you seen The Good Doctor, it is similar in many ways to House MD.House MD. Thought I’d watch it again. 177 episodes. £1.89? Is that per episode???

Dark Skies is by far the best example in that genre. The Majestic 12 conspiracy theory as a TV series, brilliantly interweaves real historical events in the story line.
