While not free, I highly recommend ‘the shield’. It’s one of the best tv shows I’ve seen up there with breaking bad and the sopranos. Vic Mackey is the ultimate anti hero.

There's a lot of love on PH for The Shield and rightly so.

Certainly the best US series I've ever watched (with The Wire and Boardwalk Empire just behind). You just have to tune yourself into the jerky camera work.

The shield is absolutely first class, if you enjoyed that you’ll enjoy justified also.

Couldn’t get into boardwalk at all, gave it a season then stopped when it was really becoming a chore.

Nice one, I'll give Justified a go.

Stupidly shaky Shield camera improves after Ep 1, so stick with it. Goggins is brilliant.

The Girlfriend Experience Season 1 is, err, very interesting.

It’s a 15 - but NSFW.
About ten episodes in and we like it. Quite different.
Tried this, first few episodes I got through on the obvious sexual content smile
Then the story developed such that by the end I really enjoyed it.
Thanks for the recommendation.

Hadn't realised the lead actress is the grandchild of Elvis Presley

Everyone else probably found this ages ago but, I stumbled across 'Life in Pieces' last week.

Genuinely funny comedy surrounding a large extended family, broken down into 4 short stories each episode. Format works very well, all characters are both funny and likeable. 3 seasons, each with 21 episodes of around 20 minutes so, not heavy viewing and easy to dip in and out of.

Occasionally, there will be a story that doesn't work all that well but, when that happens, you know that it'll only be on for 5 mins.

Fleabag is a great comedy series on Prime, though Im sure I saw it on one of the normal channels earlier in the year.

Series 2 is coming in 2019.

Just seen a trailer for this on YouTube, looks quite good so will give it a try.

Just watched 20 seconds of the trailer on you tube and looks really good, turned it off in case of spoilers.
Hopefully it’s available here in Austria! Last two movies I tried to watch on Netflix based on the thread on here weren’t there...

I've just finished 3 seasons of animal kingdom. Very good indeed, especially season 2 and 3. Some shocking unexpected moments. Better than power.

Enjoyed this a lot as well, season 4 shouldn’t be too far away but it will probably be awhile before it appears on prime.
