We're now 5 episodes into Hanna. Some of it is enjoyable, some of it is weird, and some of it is pretty awful.
You're right. At points you could be in a Bourne film; then a few minutes later, you wonder whether you've accidentally clicked to a children's TV channel.I hadn't seen the original film, so had no expectations either way. Will see the series out though.

American Gods. A tarnished gem?
Started well in S1, but in S2 its on a long and frankly boring road to 'the war'.
The characters could be discussing cheese on toast recipes for all the benefit or insight the monologues provide.
Its very shiny, but somehow paper thin in the story.
Perhaps its just me.

Started on Hell on Wheels - really enjoying it so far (S1:E5)
That was good but watch out because I don't think the last season is on Prime. It looks like £11 for the last seasonWe watched the first 5 series of "The Americans" mostly because it was free and it's something to have on while we have supper. When the 6th series was released at £2.99 an episode we chose not to bother, but now it's on Prime we've started watching it again. And I still have no idea why. It features the most unpleasant lead character I have ever come across. I keep hoping that she will be killed but that's probably too much to hope for. And the daughter is as convincing as a three pound note.

With Hanna I wonder what audience it was meant for as at times its pretty childish, shall persevere as most of it is good and only have a couple of episodes left.
