I enjoyed series 1 but just couldn't get into series 2 so gave up.

Started on s5 of Bosch start of the week which is also a slow burn.

I know it’s been out for a bit but just got into ‘halt and catch fire’ great series set in the 80s about computer boffins.

It’s a bit like the startup with a cool 80s vibe.

Recommended.

Yes, but it is a very good slow burn. It is not a negative as it can be for some shows.

Life in Pieces Season 4; currently OH's fave comedy, so she's happy.

Really enjoyed that series, being an 80's computer and electronics geek myself.

You dont need to be to get the series, in case that might put you off. biggrin

Yeah, I know nothing about computers but this is a great series.

If you liked that, have you seen ‘startup’ and ‘mr robot’ (both on Amazon) they’re both great also and both have a techy kind of background too.

I only discovered Sneaky Pete a few weeks back. Been binge watching it since then and finished season 2 on Thursday. Then I heard the news that season 3 was released yesterday - happy days!

Still can't get past seeing the main character in his role in "Friends" as Phoebe's brother!

Search for “future world films”

This, if you’re into your mid century design, is an absolute gem. Archival footage from the period covering the design of just about every thing. Furniture, cars, houses.... bloody brilliant.

Pistorious

4 part mini series, covering pretty much all aspects of his life, childhood through to olympics through to Valentines Day 2013 and the resulting court case. Pretty shocking what they allowed to show in the court (and in the episodes tbf) and it does show things in an extra light, with the very dodgy policing, interviews and breakdowns. It was a good but sometimes hard watch. Still not sure what to make of it...did he want to do it, did he mean to do it?

New 4k stick is great glad I graded.

And on another good note the youtube app is returning within a couple of months and chromcast is adding firetv support. Firefox youtube works but nowhere near as good.
I've installed Smart YouTube TV on mine. Like the official YouTube app, but without ads!

Enjoying sneaky Pete. A bit slow and repetitive at time though. Like oceans 11 Groundhog Day but decent enough production.
I’ve just finished Series 1 and thought it was great.

But in two minds to continue on to next series if it’s going to get a bit repetitive and lose some of the great refreshing twists and turns. Plus, there’s only so many times you could possibly get out of MJ’s scrapes before your luck runs out, Shirley? biggrin

I note they now have the 2018 remake of Suspiria on Prime. I personally loved it, but it is a very acquired taste, as most will see it as 2 and half hours of WTF.

I think it is a gem, but many will not...

ETA - It does have a fantastic Thom Yorke soundtrack..

If you fancy 2 hours of WTaF, try the 2004 live action remake of Casshern. smile

I've already binged Series 3. Really enjoyed it.
