This, if you’re into your mid century design, is an absolute gem. Archival footage from the period covering the design of just about every thing. Furniture, cars, houses.... bloody brilliant.
This is wonderful. It's niche. Very niche, but if it's your niche, it is a joy. Great recommendation, thank you.

Second half of the first season of 'New Amsterdam' is now up.

Already binged over the weekend and enjoyed it as much as the first half. The season finale was a proper cliffhanger, can't wait for season 2.

Just got through the second half of the season and it just got better and better. Really hope they do a season 2 since they have a habit of dropping the good stuff.

Finished season of sneaky Pete. Was ok if again a little repetitive.

Not sure there will be a 4th.

That's next in my watch list after hanna which I've only just started. Looking forward to watching it as not heard anything bad about it yet.
Only on ep2 of hanna but enjoying it so far.

Halfway through JourneyQuest - yes it IS st, but I found it really funny. I suspect that if you like D&D, WoW, diablo etc you'd find a lot to like

I've been eagerly awaiting this ever since it was announced a year or so ago, as I am a fan of both Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, and their book 'Good Omens' in particular, of which this is an adaptation.

It sounds like it's come out of the blue to you, which is a little surprising as it regularly gets mentioned in the press and media, and Amazon have been promoting it too.

Completely out of the blue, never read any Pratchett and only read American Gods.
Either way this looks good however I hope it isn't a weekly release.

I'm making the same mistake with this as i do with Netflix. Starting too many things and losing track of what i'm watching.

Currently watching The New Amsterdam - so far so good

Hubby and I do the same for both Netflix and Amazon (and those we record on Virgin)

I think we need to start keepimg a record of what we aree watching and how many series /seasons we have seen (that or start watching less tv!!)

Aye, the latter is probably the answer.

Yes, the audio book is very good. It's how I first 'read' the book as I was doing a long distance car commute at the time.
