Has anybody tried The Boys? It’s dark, graphic, funny, sweary, really sweary and definitely a new take on the superhero genre. There is a terrible British accent to get over, but it’s manageable. I’ve watched 4 episodes and it is becoming more sinister. However don’t watch it if you’re easily offended, nothing is safe. Very impressed up to now.

The Rite. I've seen it before but it's still excellent.

Hopkins is brilliant as always.

Really? Bosch is excellent IMHO. They've done really well to update the books. I agree with CR, tried it and gave up, same with GO.

I describe it as a mixture of Better call Saul, Killing Eve, and Fargo
Thanks to your description I've started watching Patriot....

You're spot on....and it is brilliant thumbup
I think naming it Patriot was a bit of an error, people have a preconception if what it might be about. I know I did, but saw a clip where John said “if you keep following me I’m going to stab you in the thigh” - that appealed to my sense of humour and I’m so glad I watched it, possibly my favourite series of all time
The way the 'songs' are mixed into the story is brilliant...

Especially "I can't see a fkin thing and my fked up fingers aint functioning"... hehe

Really enjoying it, it’s got that ‘Banshee’ feel to it. Bit mad but really good!

I got into Bosch last year, mainly due to the good reviews. I do like it but it’s definitely not for everyone.

I think it’s definitely that kind of genre that’s either for you or you don’t like it.

Vice.

Brilliant. Laughed all the way through. Amazing performances by Christian Bale, Steve Carell and Sam Rockwell.

I'd been looking forward to it for a while and wasn't disappointed at all. Much funnier than expected.

Just watched a bit of the trailer, looks good will add this to the list.

Christian Bale went above and beyond for his transformation again, I didn't recognise him!

Also been watching Patriot after seeing it highly praised on here, I like it, its a bit strange but its good, unfortunately Amazon prime here in Austria suddenly want me to add proof of ID and credit card as the episode I am on now is an 18!
So I could no longer watch it the other evening as I couldn't be bothered to go through their st, I have had an amazon account for ages and never noticed this before, why should I upload my driving licence for them?! Is this some new rule just been added? Anyone else seen this?

Just spotted that one of my all time favourite films is on Prime now.

If.... (1968) directed by Lindsay Anderson and starring a young Malcolm McDowell. beer

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0063850/
Watched this due to your recommendation.
Really enjoyed it, and the ending wasnt what I would have expected for a film of that era.
I had no idea If.... was on there. My dad wrote it... smile
This deserves far more “fking hell, that’s awesome!”

In other news, The Fall is on there which is a really good , Gillian Anderson in her skimps and lots of ex Hollyoaks fodder, all 3 series.
