Anyone watching Treadstone?
Early days (EP3) but watching more in hope it will turn out anything like the Bourne films, not much sign of it yet.
Yep..at same stage. Lots of action, lots of locations, not a lot of plotEarly days (EP3) but watching more in hope it will turn out anything like the Bourne films, not much sign of it yet.
I’m assuming it’s based on the concept of how modern private enterprise has profited strongly from government programs and selling them to the highest bidders.
From what I can work out North Korea already has access to the US agents and is starting to use them to remove key obstacles or a private business is selling their services to governments and corporates which to me explains more the various assassinations to date.
It seems pretty vanilla but after three episodes quite watchable.
I’m episode 9 been power watching,it’s these type of programs/films I enjoy watching, agree it’s quite watchable but sometimes it’s hard work when it switches to past/present,taken was a good watch as was last ship, that was until they want £££ for final series,is the next lot of jack Ryan out yet

Not on Amazon or netflix, and I cant find a Now TV thread.

Series is about a third. I think it's very good with some really gritty likeable characters, I'd highly recommend.

We stayed in Kyoto in 2016 shortly after Pokemon Go was launched and that landmark bridge (yes that bridge) was a pokestop so was always heaving with people concentrating on their phones
It's a fantastic country and I would love to visit again . I've enjoyed this series but cant help feel it's been heavily edited and a lot of stuff cut out

New to this but came across Salyut 7. Outstanding cinema photography and of a historical moment I didn't know much about.
Watched this last night based on your recommendation. Really enjoyed it. TBH I was surprised at how well made it was. Seems like it’s a Russian production.
