Watch Skyscraper yesterday, with The Rock

A modern mix of the towering inferno + die hard with a healthy mix of AI and connectivity thrown in.

Some of the in-the-air scenes made my hands sweat.
I watched this last night with my wife and daughter, based on your post.

They now think I'm an ahole with terrible taste in films.

Thanks for that.
well yes it is a crap film - sometimes though a crap film is just what you need. I enjoyed it by that metric
I did put a smiley thing on my post to indicate it was tongue in cheek.

But it was crap, really crap laugh

Just started rewatching The Last Ship, deadly virus, global pandemic, 80% infection rate, no effective government, stopping off at warehouses and grabbing pasta and tinned tomatoes. All very familiar.
hehe
Flu is another, watching it now ,mentions Coronavirus in the description

Have watched -

The Patriot - weird/funny/great !
Sneaky Pete - liked it very much.
Vikings - gone on a bit long now but the first few series were good.
Treadstone - quite enjoyable.
Jack Ryan - good series
Bosch - American cop drama.

Most of the films seem to be a bit pants. God only knows who writes the reviews !!

Just delving into the massive catalogue of old films.
Watching Charlie Chan movies, which are taking me back to my childhood.
The fond memories of watching black and white films on weekday afternoons after school.

Really enjoying Justified after a shaky start. The dialogue is fantastic, faithful in style if not content to the writer of the original short story Elmore Leonard.

The first season of Jack Ryan was all right, but the second one is just so turgid with its ridiculous Venezuelan political side plot. I really struggled to get through it.

The Act.

Finshed this last night, wow, it's so strange. Amazing acting in it, I belive the 2 lead actresses were nominated for awards.

Highly recommended.

We watched it last night, great film. There was a bit of sand in my eye at the end, which was really odd, given the content of the film!

Is the Expanse the one where the main character has a constant angry confused grimace on his face ?

Just watched the first episode of ZeroZeroZero, so far pretty good.
Along the same lines as Narcos.
