Have you seen Black Sails yet, I thougt it was pretty good. Violence and nudity, it ticks both boxes.

Got around to watching 'Oceans 8', the reboot of the caper movie franchise with a female crew lead by Sandra Bullocks as George Clooney's sister.
Better than Twelve, but not as good as Eleven or Thirteen.
Trigger Warning: features James Corden.
I turned it off, it was so dull and formulaic, aside from being a pander to feminism, for the sake of it.Better than Twelve, but not as good as Eleven or Thirteen.

The Americans. Best series on amazon prime. Spectacularly good.
I’ve just finished that, and I agree (except Patriot is better imo)popeyewhite said:

I’ve just finished that, and I agree (except Patriot is better imo)Americans was very watchable, with some great characters. Not very believable (too much 'wet work' and the non-stop disguises and supply of cars/gear) and I don't think for a second that the confrontation at the end is how it would play out.
The Fall was OK, but a bit like Broadchurch where the pace of the first series stalls as the new series get underway.

Apologies for being about 5 years late for the party but could someone confirm so I don’t waste any more of my life.
After 2 great seasons, I am 3 into Goliath series 3 which seems to have been written by a teenager on a bad acid trip
Does it get any better or is it this st throughout?
Goliath s1 was really good, s2 started well then the teenagers/acid kicked in and the second half appeared to have been written by someone who hadn't been in the same country as the person who wrote the first half. S3 I can't make my mind up about. I WANT to keep watching in case it's brilliant, but suspect its wky pretentious bks...After 2 great seasons, I am 3 into Goliath series 3 which seems to have been written by a teenager on a bad acid trip

Started watching the American remake of utopia. Loved the original but not feeling this one, must go track the original down...
Yup - I tried that, and clearly the poor Americans are being fobbed off with a very poor substitute.I watched the entire first episode through to the inevitable cliff hanger and - having only watched Series one of the original over the last few months - I can list the things the remake misses out on.....
....everything.

You won't need to go far to find the original. It's alongside the remake on Amazon Prime. (Or at least it was last week)Just about to binge the sixth and final season of Justified with the loose cannon US Marshall hitting the hillbillies.
Despite dears it may slide, it's been consistently good with good performances throughout, especially Walton Higgins and Timothy Oliphant.
Of minor interest is that I googled the AMC Gremlin "Electra" to find the exact same car was used in the 2010 "Outlaw".

I don't think you'll be disappointed. It's one of those rare series that maintained its quality throughout and has a perfect ending. Despite dears it may slide, it's been consistently good with good performances throughout, especially Walton Higgins and Timothy Oliphant.
