Corner Gas just gets better and better with each season. Funniest thing we've watched in years.

Yes me and the Mrs started watching Bates Motel last week after a recommendation on here (thank you!) we will need to pay for it in 7 days. Will try snd binge it.
We started S01 last night and can’t believe we have missed this! Brilliant!I think it’s only S01 leaving.... the other seasons don’t have the leaving on five days as far as I can see.
Did get a nod that it is coming to Netflix though!

Wayne is a very dark and very funny series about a 15 year old high school kid...
Yep this is awesome thanks for the recommendation, two episodes in really enjoying it Elroy Blue said:
I’ll third this. Never heard of it before, but started watching tonight. Four episodes in a row. I think it’s great entertainment.
watched 8/10 episodes last night, thoroughly enjoyed it. Whilst googling to see who X actor/actress was I noticed it's been signed up for a second series.Soulmates -
VERY Black Mirror, I think the writers have written some Black Mirror episodes.
They are stand alone episodes about a company that offer a test to find your ‘Soulmate’ the perfect partner for you....interesting concept that revolves a lot around the morales. Do you take the test even though you are in a seemingly loving relationship? seems to be to over riding question.
First episode had a LOT of holes in the plot where you are constantly saying ‘that wouldn’t happen’, ‘how did she manage that’ etc the second episode was better....I’ll watch another one tonight!

I expect it's been covered before, but I getting increasingly pissed off with AP constantly trying to charge me extra to watch stuff.
Depends on what it is.If it is a new movie, and they are offering a convenient platform to rent it, then what is the problem?

I just think it's disingenuous to charge me a subscription, and then to charge me more for anything decent. It's not as if I get £79 worth of telly out of AP anyway, because most stuff is dross. It's evident Amazon cocked up their business model and can'tmake Prime pay.
I guess it depends on how much you value free next day delivery. If that is of value then the cost of Prime TV is reduced accordingly. JagLover said:

Yes, and I originally signed up to Prime for the free next day delivery, but they quickly stopped that guarantee too. I've had more than 24months free Prime subscription out of them as compensation for repeatedly failing to live up to a delivery promise that nobody asked for, but that they couldn't honour.I've always considered Prime Video to be a bonus of Prime membership rather than a reason for it. Mainly because I have been a Prime subscriber since before they added Video.
Initially it looked like you were entirely opposite and considered it solely a telly thing...
(Genuine question, before you do the usual)

Then you appeared to say completely the opposite in a subsequent post...Doofus said:

So, if you don't rate the telly side of it, and don't rate the delivery side of it, exactly why are you paying £79 a year for it? (Genuine question, before you do the usual)

I didn't say I didn't rate the delivery side of it. I said they aren't able to honour their self-inflicted promised of next day delivery.(Genuine question, before you do the usual)
I get more than £79 worth of shipping value from them, although I never asked for (and never need) next day delivery. So I'll continue to pay my £79 (even though they've paid it for me for the last year and a half), and I'll get the telly for free, and moan about how rubbish it is.
My point was that they thought they could do free delivery and Amazon Video for £79pa and they can't. Hence lots of stuff on Amazon Video costs more.
ETA. And I had Prime delivery before Prime telly too.

Just to add...
Sorry to hear you have had poor service, but on the upside at least they are recompensing you for it. In years gone by they would have extended my membership by a month for every missed delivery but these days I find I just get fobbed off with a "sorry" on the very rare occasions when they don't fulfil their "next day promise". Although, having said that, I have noticed that delivery estimates aren't always Next Day any more. They will very often flag an item up at checkout time as having a "longer than expected" delivery time due to Covid-19, which I guess is fair enough if they are up-front about it.
But if you are still getting your membership extended each time then fair play to you.

I think it must be area-dependent. I live in quite a small-to-modestly-sized town and almost always get things the next day. In fact, sometimes I can order stuff in the evening and get it before lunchtime the next day. Sorry to hear you have had poor service, but on the upside at least they are recompensing you for it.
