Maybe late to the party but just started Damages.
First episode was good.
Great cast.

Worth persevering with?
After finishing Bates Motel I’m on this now, impressed so far

Finished Star Trek Lower Decks this morning smile . The setup of the last couple of episodes was great, they're working on season 2 for release this year.

Indeed. I'm no Trekkie but I definitely enjoyed it.

It seems to be a bit polarising, but I find it a great wind down after a work day or a bit of "more serious" viewing.....

....and I have no idea why, but in the opening credits, when the ship glances off and breaks the rock it is navigating past it almost always creases us up with laughter.....

Bring on S2!

‘I care a lot’ with Rosamund Pike. Really enjoyed it and certainly one of the best films so far in 2021.

If that's the show with Glenn Close then yes it's excellent.

I hated that bh. (The character she plays)

The whole system of guardianship in the USA is screwed up and ripe for exploitation.

Yes, she suddenly turns from office bod to ninja and we are supposed to believe it...

She didn't even see the granny coming in for the choke from behind her.

It did get a bit OTT at times, but overall didn't spoil the film. 6 is harsh IMHO.

My wife and I want to watch this. Sadly, it's not yet available via Amazon Prime Germany. frown

Yes, watched it last night - it was much better than 6.

More a black comedy that a thriller, but none the worse for that. Enjoyed it.

I watched the first episode of The New Professionals. Like any right-minded human, I think the original Professionals is fantastic. This, however...

I don't know where to begin. It is total and utter garbage. Horrible.

Dark Waters - mentioned before quite a few pages back.

amazing film - how does the docuSeries about Britney make the news and this thing doesnt (well it did in the 90's i guess) - despite its length i'd have like it to be longer (perhaps a mini series) to get to know the characters.

should i throw out my nonstick pans now? my 3m post it notes and waterproof clothing?

Watched Cell last night, Samuel L Jackson and John Cusack zombie movie. Now with those two I’d have expected at least a semi decent budget but some of the effects were sub-Sharknado. Staggeringly bad.

And I really didn’t get the ending, maybe I’d lost interest and wasn’t paying attention but...

So what the hell happened at the end? Cusack imagined he blew it up? The zombie thing got in his head to make him think that? I thought it was all a Bobby Ewing style dream, but the food truck was still in the middle when he was walking.

We watched this last night and really enjoyed it. Hard to explain, but it had a feel of an American 'Layer Cake' about it at certain points to me. Very funny in parts too.

Good point. Very stylish, someone who thinks they aren't really a criminal in the gangster sense finds gangsters don't draw a distinction.

and of course, the ending
