Patriot. We thought we would give it a try, expected the usual spy type stuff.

It's one of the funniest things I've seen recently, though the humour is quite dark and not always obvious (which is how I like it).

Give it a go, it's really good.

Thoroughly recommend " Hand of God " , starring Ron Perlman , if you haven't seen it.
Loved the 1st series and so glad to see the 2nd series appear this month. Currently halfway through it and it doesn't disappoint .
That's good news. I'll be watching that. I really like the first series although apparently a lot of people didn't.
I absolutely hated it.
Can't remember why but I remarked on it earlier in the thread.

I know Im late to the party but started Goliath last week. Absolutely loving it. Only 6 episodes in but having to force myself to go to bed!
"only" 6 episodes in....there are only 8 episodes, so you're almost done.

Agreed - great series, Billy Bob Thornton is mega.
Just binge watching this now. Great series, Billy Bob fantastic as ever.

Yup, was so glad they made the series after enjoying the pilot and devoured it over 3 nights.

This, along with The Bureau, Goliath, Bosch and Red Oaks are my favourites on Amazon.

My wife has admitted (after 5 episodes) to not really liking it. This usually means I'm on the right tracksmile.

The Hugh Hefner docuseries thing.
Interesting stuff especially the fact that the London casino was the most profitable casino in the world and basically kept the whole Playboy operation afloat for years.
I think it probably paints many things in a very favourable light but does have very many scenes of pert tits and tight derrieres.

Has anybody given taken (the series) a go yet ? I'm just wondering if its as bad as what I'm expecting it to be. I need a new series to watch. Think it will be animal kingdom next for me.

Life in Pieces. Similar to modern family. Good fun, enjoyable and stars the mum from the lost Boys who doesn't appear to have aged at all along with Jeff Brolin .

I've been semi-binge watching Alpha House, American political comedy starring John Goodman among others. Excellent stuff, and some good looking women in it too, which is always welcome.
This sounds good!

New series of Bosch is out, not started it yet but may well do later. I enjoyed the 1st 2 series....but can't remember them very well as it's been ages since I watched them!

Only 2 episodes in, but I can't say I'm very impressed with the 3rd season of Bosch so far.

I'll stick with it, but I'd be interested in anyone else's opinion...

Not sure if it has had a mention, half way through Manhattan. WW2 drama about the Manhattan project. Story focuses on the two rival scientists on the atomic bomb projects - about 5 episodes in and very good story so far with a nice mix of the scientists developing the bomb and family drama of life living in the middle of nowhere and all the secrecy involved.

I binged watched it over 2 days and found it good.

Ive tried to give Hand of God a go and finding it tedious after 2 episodes
