Bosch - cop show
Goliath - maverick lawyer
The Expanse - one of the best sci-fi tv ever
Vikings (first 3 seasons) - Vikings
+1 to all these. I tried to watch the Expanse twice and gave up after a couple of episodes as it just didn't grip me at all. After endless recommendations I tried a third time and pushed on, now on season 5 and loving it, it's fantastic.Goliath - maverick lawyer

The Beaster Bunny came up in my suggestions last night.
Wow, just wow. It's spectacular, I urge anyone to at least watch the first 15 minutes.

Absolutely bloody nonsense. Quite possibly the worst movie ever. Terrible acting, dime store special effects, gratuitous nudity, I wish I could give it 6 stars.

Outer Range, but god damn put the lights on, it’s not some arty atmospheric style, it’s making it unwatchable. Pitch black in places.
Yeah, likewise, winding us up trying to watch this in the dark. Good premise but 90% soap with a glimpse of the supernatural each episode. Hard going.Ex-Machina has popped up on Prime. It's a good 10 years old but well worth a watch if you've not seen it - if only test whether you gets the hots for a robot (spoiler.... you will!).
There's also some really interesting stuff on YT with the writer discussing the premise of the film - that being the determination of what classifies a being as being sentient.

New to me, The West Wing on IMDB channel. Never watched it at all before so whilst it seems a bit dated, I am admiring the really tight script and constant pace. Some of the characters seem a bit clichéd but it works really well as a whole, lots for me to watch over next months!!

The first 4 seasons are some of my favourite television. The Upside, with Kevin Hart and Bryan Cranston.
I enjoyed this film as a lighthearted and easy watch with the wife. 2 good performers (Cranston especially) and a witty script, even if the storyline is a bit predictable.
It's a remake of Intouchables, which is the better film and is on Netflix but it's still a decent watch.
The Grauniad hated it which makes me like it more.....

The Blacklist starting James Spader.
I’m about 7 episodes in and still can’t make my mind up if it’s good or bad EK9_CTR said:
Just finished the first season of Bosch. Titus Welliver is great and would recommend if you like US cop stuff.
The good news for me is I've still got another 6 seasons to watch plus an upcoming "Legacy" spin off series.
This is turning into a binge-watch for me. About to start Season 3.The good news for me is I've still got another 6 seasons to watch plus an upcoming "Legacy" spin off series.

On Amazon Prime, we enjoyed Man in A Hat, starring Ciaran Hinds. Its a bit weird but has lovely south of France scenery as he drives around in a proper Fiat 500 followed by a bunch of characters in a struggling Citroen Dyane.
Plenty of other cars too.
Yes, I've watched that a couple of times. It's just really nice.Plenty of other cars too.
