After 2012 and W1A, I find that dialogue style really tired now.
It is a bit obvious, certainly.

One of my favourites.

Have also just finished Season 1 of Night Sky. Really enjoyed this. Good acting (JK Simmons - love him). Great production values. Like the story. Pace is borderline but, kept me hooked.

Hopefully Season 2 will go ahead as there's a ton of material in it.

(Quite different to The Boys mind...biggrin).

Been trying 'Wolf Like Me'. Supposed to be a comedy drama. Abandoned it before the end of the fourth episode. It's an interesting premise but it's the type of thing where everybody is supposed to be relatively normal apart from this one of the characters who has this very abnormal 'thing'.

But one of the other characters persists in doing things that no normal person would ever do despite being confused and upset. It's as if the idea is to show how confused and upset he is, and then to show it again, and again, and again...

I found it a perfectly delightful tale of human relationships.

I've also just finished Night Sky.

Some properly nice sci-fi, and also hoping for a second series.

Bosch Legacy is very well produced, but my goodness it's utterly predictable.

I'm wondering why people who live in what looks pretty much like a barren wasteland would keep a bunch of llamas in a small stone paddock on a hilltop, with nothing for them to eat or drink.

South America, Argentina, innit where llamas live. If it wasn't South America, they would be goats.

+1

Only just started it, but the main performances would be compelling even without what's in the cellar.

Into ep4 of Night Sky, it's a slow burn, because it's not full of action and bullst, much like Outer Range. I'm liking it.

Agreed but I think that is part of the appeal - you know what's going to happen but you want to see how.

My only real criticism is the actor who plays Maddie - just so wooden. I was hoping she was going to get killed off before her mum.

Two good shows at last. Could never get into Bosch.

Me neither, cannot fathom the love for that show, enjoying Night Sky, tried Outer Range, not so much

On the subject on Night sky, are the bits Spanish bits supposed to have subtitles? There are large chunks of certain episodes where I've no idea what's going on.

It’s ok but you need to be handy with the 10 second skip button for the endless waffle between actual events.
