It’s ok but you need to be handy with the 10 second skip button for the endless waffle between actual events. This could be because I like FK Simmons though...and despite being probably 20yrs or more the junior of the character, I do like a good curmudgeon. The relationships between him and his wife. and him and Byron were very well crafted.

Two good shows at last. Could never get into Bosch.t, much like Outer Range. I'm liking it. Bosch may be hard going for some because it has a lot of different plot lines going on all at once. There's a fair bit of shoot 'em up police action but the idea is to show the different sides of American policing and what American police have to deal with from the threat of being shot in a traffic stop to the court of public opinion and actually being sued in court when they shoot someone themselves. It's not saying it's right or wrong. Maddie working with a lawyer who goes after the police and then becoming a police officer herself and being conflicted plays out those different viewpoints. I've never thought the girl who plays her is wooden. She started out as a child actor in Walking Dead.
