Season 2 of Hacks has started. Really enjoyed the first one. (It seems to have come around really quickly)

The Boys!

Just gets better!

Karl Urban has grown into this role, some of his lines are just brilliant!

Yosi: The Regretful Spy.

Far better than the rather lame title suggests. 2022 Argentinian spy series that flicks between 1987 & 2007, in Spanish with English subtitles.

Fancied some brain-out movie action, so watched Interceptor

It delivered rofl Elsa Pataky is a good kick-ass leading actor, very little surprises but it did the job and distracted my brain for an hour and a half.

Nice little cameo in there too wink
That was Netflix, not Amazon, and I watched it yesterday. I thought it was about the worst thing I had ever seen biggrin

Love the Yank floating radar installation, an iconic structure!
I'm with you. Watched it last night and it was a cheaply-made rehash of every action film trope of the mid 90s. From the vest-wearing hero to the icy-faced villain it held absolutely no surprises whatsoever. And the CGI of the missiles looked like i had done in in MS Paint. Dire

I'm watching a great series on Sky Max but I guess this isn't the thread for it.

I started one ages ago but nobody replied to it.

Feel free to start another if you wish.

The Lazarus Project. Three episodes it and really enjoying it. But then I'm really into Time Travel stuff.

Up to ep5 - it’s not great but one of the more watchable series sky has put out. The premise is good, some iffy acting going on though.

same here - i'm not really invested in the main character and his wife, the lead woman of the team is getting plenty of screen time, and the others dont seem to exist apart from a few words here or there.

also there are some major issues for me regarding the plot and motivation of

the rogue agent(s) that are trying to continually cause ww3 because they do not think the Lazarus project should exist - would it not just be easier to try and blow up the time machine instead? they know where it is, who's there , how its guarded (as they used to work there) , and no way to reset the clock once its destroyed.

I've just started to watch this. I quite like it.

In regard to your bit in the spoiler...

The rogue agents don't know where the reset mechanism is. "Ma'am" handles resets by placing a call somewhere.

Ten percent looks quite fun in the mould of W1A, though not as funny.

Natasha Little is still gorgeous.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention! I'm now hooked. Not as blatantly silly as 2012/ W1A, but a more engrossing storyline instead. The actors all look like they're enjoying it and I like each episode has a different famous cameo (kind of).
