Signed up to the Shudder channel for a free month via our Prime account.

Plenty of so bad it's good horror stuff and a few gems. Society, Dead Snow, Stake Land, Pontypool etc. Even The Happiness of the Katakuris is on there.

Can't see myself keeping it beyond the month, but then there are a load of other channels to try out too.

Lucifer seems to have finished but the good news is that it has been renewed for season 3, due in the fall autumn.
Season two got extended to 22 eps, then they made a finale at ep 18 & will tack the other four on the beginning of season 3. Apparently the next 4 are a bit 'experimental' taking advantage of a few plots having ended plus the bit the finale finished on.

Looking forward to more.

How does the 30 day trial work on Channels, is it 30 days for each, so you could theoretically cancel and switch every 30 days and not pay any subscription unless you go back to a channel you've had a trial for?

Yes you get one trial for each channel although they vary on length, we've signed up to 3 of them so far and they were all free trials.

For example Eurosport is 7 days (waiting for Le Mans for that one!), Shudder is 30 days.

Thanks for that. I'll give it a look. thumbup

As an aside, I used to quite enjoy the episodes of "Man vs Food" when he would show you the food, how it was made, and some background on it. I never really enjoyed the eating contests though.

I liked them as well, but like you not the eating challenges. A lot of those episodes you can find on Youtube

And only 4 episodes on so far, but hopefully more of LEXX,cheesy 90s sci do about the crew of a spaceship shaped like a dragonfly: an idiot security guard, a 2000 year old dead assassin, and a part lizard sex slave!
Watched Lexx on SciFi in the 90s. Properly barking mad. hehe

The Le Mans 6 part documentary was pretty decent, in a sort of US-centric "short attention span" type of show (sub 30 minutes per episode and multiple recaps of the same thing).

Also "The Red Pill" is available as well, worth a watch regardless of your stance on men's rights activism/feminism.

Bullit is included at the moment. Doesn't show on the "recently added" lists, only found out about it through a telegraph list: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/on-demand/0/top-10-best...

We need to talk about Kevin is a fab film too.

Same here, great series.

Does any one know if you can use your account on multiple devices at the same time? Eg. can I watch something on my phone whilst i'm away with work whilst my wife uses the TV at home?

Not sure but it does allow you to download films and TV episodes to your phone so you could do that.

I think you can use at least two devices at the same time.

Going against the point of the thread a bit, but Amazon really isn't doing it for me.

Far too much you've to pay extra for. If it wasn't for the delivery benefits, I'd definitely not be extending beyond the year and to be honest I can probably wait longer for stuff anyway.

I view my Amazon Prime membership as free delivery and returns, and everything else as a bonus.
