I enjoyed it, real nostalgic with the modern twist. TNG was my favourite ST series. I'm quite hopeful this will be the best season.

The very wonderful Everything Everywhere All at Once is currently FwP.

Grab it while you can - ie, before Amazon levies a fee because it’s being re-released in cinemas due to Oscar nominations for Best Picture, Best Actress, Original Screenplay, etc, all of which it will win, obvs.

And without looking at IMDB, spot the 40-year acting-career hiatus comeback star smile

That was a great opening episode!

Very nostalgic - makes me feel old, I was in my twenties when TNG came out

enjoying a lighthearted watch of Swedish Dicks - new to prime but seemingly 6 years old.

The Belfast Story
and
A Bad Day at the Cut

Two tales set in post troubles Ireland, the first a detective investigates a string of murders, the second, a farmer looking for the people who murdered his mother.

The Irish can be relied on to do revenge so well. Enjoy a grudge-fest.

We’re watching the last two episodes of The Rig tonight

Can’t believe how wrong some people on here are. I can only assume your stable fare is watching teen movies on Netflix or something

Until The Rig, science fiction was just cardboard rockets with lit matches for engines

The Rig changes everything we ever thought we understood about our life and our place in the universe

I expect to sublime at the precise ending of episode 6 and cast off the shackles of these limited dimensions
It got a real crap rating on IMDB, which is usually a decent yardstick
We watched it. Great cast. Utter garbage. Truly awful.

On ep06
Some genuine funny moments, and feels different to the usual American series.
The Asian assistant is excellent

Carnival Row is back - I remember the first season being OK but it's been years since it came out so I'll have to rewatch it 'cos I can't remember any of it.

The Raggy Boys. A bit dated but still powerful and harrowing. A true story of the physical and sexual abuse by priests in Ireland of young boys. Not for the faint hearted.

I truly despise religion and the nutters it attracts.

I thought I'd love this series (OK I confess that I have a thing for Cara D) but it barely heldy attention in S1 and the first two eps of S2 were the same.

I've just done exactly that, forgot how dark most of it was and i spent long periods listening but not seeing anything. Why do a load of these series do this these days??

I'll watch season 2, but after rewatching season 1, i also sort of remember why I didn't remember any of it...it wasn't that good.

everything is optimised for the latest and greatest TV's, if you're running old LED its rubbish but I expect anyone on OLED will be loving the atmosphere and detail in the dark areas
