Currently working my way through Bosch (fairly standard US cop show, but nicely made, and very watchable).
Also enjoy Life in Pieces, and Lucifer.
And of course, The Grand Tour.
Really like Bosch - love the old school detective show without being cringy even though has its cliches but I think that adds to the charm..Also enjoy Life in Pieces, and Lucifer.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. been pay for episode for ages, finally free on Prime so binge watching it before it gets removed.
Just about to start the 15th episode but really enjoying it.

Apologies if this has been posted before, but at this moment I am watching European Road Racing - it is a collection of old Lemans etc documentaries. I knew safety was slack in those days, but the first film has completely blown my mind, especially the people sat watching on a deckchair one foot away from the circuit, and the jaunty music as the narrator explains how a driver has died during a four car crash.
'808'
'Back in 1980 Japanese electronics manufacturer Roland released one of the most important musical instruments ever, the TR-808. Although it only led a limited life, the 808 became world renowned, its signature low end bass and unique sounds redefining the musical landscape.'
Ok, so that description doesn't really sell it, but if you are remotely interested in music, this documentary manges to connect Marvin Gaye to Phil Collins to Public Enemy to The Beastie Boys to Pharrell to Acid House to Goldie to Felix and make it very interesting. Helps if you have a passing interest in (although not necessarily a fan of) EDM, rap etc (in so far as you'll recognise some of the tracks).
Unashamedly geeky, but accessible and importantly doesn't adopt that hideous NME type snobbery that plagues music appreciation. As it says in the description above, it is about a brand new instrument that you will have heard a million times before, but never realised what it was.

Watched this last night, Lone Survivor.
Pretty gritty Taliban stuff based on a true story.

That's showing as £1.49 so would be Amazon Video not Prime Video. I think this thread is just for what is included with Prime.Pretty gritty Taliban stuff based on a true story.

This Is Us.
It's actually very good. Quite emotional but fun as well.
My fiancee started watching this and I must admit, I wasn't taken by the pilot episode ... However a few episodes in, I started to enjoy it! It's an interesting concept; a good story line. Not something I'd repeat watch, but still working through season one and will look forward to the next season. It's actually very good. Quite emotional but fun as well.

Watched the first episode of Grand Prix Driver last night and though it was interesting, it's a documentary about McLaren before the start of the 2017 season.
I love the blurb which is something like, paraphrasing - 'after 3 years of crap, McLaren hope to be back on the podium again'.....Oh dear
