That’s quite a statement.
Is Generation War on Prime?
No, it's HBO, available at all your dodgiest sites or through amazon video, it's like Community in that no ones ever heard about it, yet not many have a bad word to say about it.Is Generation War on Prime?
The Dawns Here Are Quiet - its all sub-titled but about a Russian AA post manned by a female team in WW2 when an SS Unit parachutes in for abit of sabotage.
Not quite what i was expecting and only 4 episodes long but googling it would suggest its a film originally. Worth a watch

One of those rare programmes that leaves you sat in silence once it's ended.
Kokkoku: Moment by Moment - a Japanese anime (subbed) about a family who are able to stop time. The entire season is set in the exact split second they stopped it in the 1st episode (ie. it's not a show where they dip in and out of time).
It's been pretty good so far, but by around the 9th or 10th episode it was starting to outstay its welcome and it felt like they were stretching it out a bit. I just have the final episode (#12) left to watch and am hoping for it to be resolved to satisfaction rather than an unsatisfactory setup for a 2nd season.
I also started watching Re:CREATORS, which is another anime. The gist of this one is that the act of creating an anime or manga creates that actual world, and all those worlds have collided with ours and the characters are now real and wanting to find their "creators". It's all a bit meta, and I only lasted a few episodes before binning it as there was too much awkward fanservice (or possibly authorservice) and exposition.

What i dont get though, was that originally he was portrayed as a soldier yet eventually it comes out that he was a Colonel. You'd have thought the president, being a General in the opposite army would know who he is already and he even believed he was a soldier.
Anyway, 3 episodes to go but find it more background noise now than anything and back to Lucifer as its restarted
I thought that for a while but then concluded it was the southern accent and they were calling him by his first name, CullenAnyway, 3 episodes to go but find it more background noise now than anything and back to Lucifer as its restarted

i guess it could be that, i had to google Cheyenne as thought that Cayan of something though it reminds me when i meet some Americans girls before from Atlanta, one of them was called Celine but they pronounced it Saleen - thought it was very odd that someone would name their kid after a car tuner until the wrote it down What did fk me off and not sure if it was Tv/PS4 doing it but subtitles for the Indian section where non-existent and then they popped up in the Chinese section but not all the time

Currently on S5, this confused me as well, I think you arent meant to be privy to certain conversations as a viewer letting the English speakers tell their interpretation, with other segments you areGetCarter said:

The Looming Tower .
Looming tower just binged.First 1/3 - 8.5/10
Second 1/3 - 7/10
Last 1/3 - 7.5/10
Overall 7.8 - Well worth a watch, though it makes it clear that some stuff is made up, and you need to take that on board. So much is true it's a face palm.
Of particular note, the character portrayal of Ali Soufan was interesting. I thought that his reasoning bought a balance to to the events. The last interrogation scene was especially powerful. Even if it was fictional, the sentiment behind it was sound & something that sorely needs a wider airing.
Batman vs Superman is on there as well, dont know why but for some reason i thought this would be to 'big' to end up on Amazon so soon, even though its not exactly great.
Theres also a 2 part 'documentary' about Jesse James of West Coast Choppers and his Trophy Truck racing. Looks like it was filmed in 2010/11

Anyone watching 'The Crossing'?
I binged the first 8 episodes yesterday and I'm really enjoying it. Starts off with hundreds of people appearing out of nowhere in the sea, many of them drown, only 47 survive. They claim to be from 200 years in the future and have travelled through time to escape a war that hasn't happened yet.
Good performances, interesting plot. Steve Zahn is great as the small town sheriff locking horns with 'the feds'.
I'd give it a solid 8/10 so far. Looking forward to seeing how it ends.
