This is a bonkers build - I just hope it ends up as a good bonkers.

Caught up on last week's tonight. Really liked it, and the couple.

This week, ermm, no.

I think the other builds in the last series and this are more recent. A date of 2014 just popped up a year into the build so either they have been saving this one or somethings has gone tits up.

I foresee a disaster now. Sacking the PM and taking it on yourself on a highly complex build is just plain idiotic.

And to make changes now as a result of not being adequately engaged through the design process, further mental.

As this episode goes on the more I keep thinking that they are building for completely the wrong reasons and they themselves are realising it and trying to make themselves like it.

In saying that I quite like the look of it and should be quite good (hopefully)...

I was wondering how private it was as it was made out to be built on park waste land near the abbey, but it's not. It's built on a vacant plot along a ling of other houses, ok it's on archeaology but it's still a vacant plot along a line of other plots. So it's got proper boundaries.

4 so far this week; we've yet to get to the windows hehe Shame there isn't a tile for "architect with wild ear-hair".
Yeah, wtf is it with guys who shave everyday but don't think to just dip into their lugholes?

Japanese wife seems to be a fairly common GD trope as well.

I don't know whether it's the camera angle but that brickwork looked like a 1970's state comprehensive school. Needed some bashed up wheelie bins and some 5th formers smoking to finish it off.

Might be different with the foliage, but I suspect that will make it look like an abandoned state comprehensive from the 1970's, instead.

The ear hair is to match up with his eyebrows hehe

All this effort and cost for bespoke furniture which in the end will probably look like they spent an afternoon in Ikea.

The architect seems to be living out his ideas through the client who seems like a bit of a chinless wonder.

WTF, was that carpenter trimming the edge on that wood without any protection on the new floor? Nice Stanley knife cut in the maple floor!

FLW is reputed to have periodically revisited his designs to make sure that the occupants had still got the furniture in the correct position. I can see Rogan being a frequent visitor.
