Anyone care to guess how many GD babies this series will generate?

My money is on 2.

Ol' wonder nuts McLeod has had a bit of a poor run the last two seasons, I'm gonna go for three as he gets his batting average back up.

The season preview is interesting - that enormous cob house from five years ago is finished, and I see already up for sale. For much less than I would have thought.

Series linked

Just hope they are near builds and not the rubbish rehash of “revisited” places

They should film more builds than they need and expect some that hugely overrun, and show them in later series when they are complete IMO

Kevin writes in GD magazine and says that they have up to 25 projects on the go, being filmed, and each series evolves depending on what is finished!

I must be old as I have watched it from the beginning and its been going for 20 years now...

If you watch one of the first ones it brings it home - he looks so young.

I remember that in the water tower episode (I think)
was it a Cerbera?

Yeah. He drove it in a few episodes, and others had it in the background.

He had it a few years iirc., before moving over to a Land/Range Rover

The water tower one was re-shown last week sometime, and his TVR was there. A bit jarring, seeing him with hair.

I think he said there's seven new ones in this series, he was on the phone to the Chris Evans show last week talking about it.

I'm looking forward to this series, after missing a few years...

The Cob House is in our village, so will be great to see how it turned out. Anyone got a link to the listing?

Also, it looks like the first episode is a conversion of a Folly into a home. We tried to buy / do something similar with the Powderham Folly about 8 years ago, but the owner wouldn't sell. It was bigger than this one too, so would have bet us over even more.

Apologies for the Daily Fail link, pictures:

That's not far from us so will be particularly interesting to see. It had been mouldering away for as long as I can remember.

Thank you. Listing at £5 under £1m is why I didn't pick up on it. (I have a Devon-wide £1m search, for Pawn reasons.)

The one on tonight looks like a place on one of my regular cycling routes in Dinton, Bucks. A sort of ruined tower which has been rebuilt over the past few years. Should be a good one if so...
