Where did the £10M come from?, thought the budget was £200K
The big mansion that was visited, not the GD build.

Sorry, missed that bit

I’m cynically thinking the the parents were always going to be providing some budget.

Also, why do these people use friends garages rather than storage companies which are not expensive?

Is it an entrance or just to allow you to get from living room directly to the garden?

Yep, doesn't look best pleased at all.

Not exactly child friendly either.

Texted my dad the same; "she looks utterly pissed off"!

Really not my thing but I think it's wonderful and wonderfully done.

He has done a great job but it does look a bit small to me...

His wife doesn't seem keen at all!

Exactly what Mrs G and I just said to both your points.

Also as above, not child friendly at all.

Yes, small but really well done. What did they pay for the ruin in the first place?

100k.

He just said it was 300k all in.

Nice but a novelty building and not suitable for bringing kids up in.

Good value in that case. £400k doesn't buy a huge amount in that area

Lovely build, but 2 bedrooms and 2 kids, they won't be there long!

Admire the effort, not sure I like the result. That would have been so much better had they been allowed to put a contemporary extension on it, but that wasn't going to happen on a 2*

Probably needed it to get the place through regs - an internal stair discharging into a kitchen is not ideal for escape.... unless he installed a sprinkler system which I doubt and couldn’t see
