Think about 70k but as I said based on lots of criteria, and you only get it at the end after transmission so you, in theory, don't add it to your spend. They don't want to be in any way responsible for your financial failures.
I have no idea, but I'd always understood people didn't get paid, other than expenses. I read that sometime the program makers sometimes dress the houses for the final shots.£70K sounds immense for an hour's TV.

One on my mates has just started a project with them. When he makes some real progress I might post some pics. As I understand it, the money offer is conditional on a successful project and transmission.
My wife and I are going to do our "Grand Design" next year, nothing like as big as the one that's on now but an interesting project in a lot of ways. She's said we should contact Channel 4 and see if they're interested and what they might offer us to be involved, I'm not so sure but if the money's good it might help fund my future car purchases, do you have any idea of what they are offering your mate?
Actually there's no way could I do that though as I have grandchildren now and I can give them back, I don't think I could handle kids again at my age.

If it was smaller, with less glass, fine. But as it is, no. It's a nice building, but it was like a designer showroom, not a home. And as said already, where is the storage?
There was a tucked away container in the aerial shot near the end of the programme. Probably where all the odds and ends are stored. Well done, you built another golf course clubhouse.
These rich people never seem to have particularly happy lives do they? Kids but no Mrs Dall. Didn't seem to like the idea of parties. Clearly he's worked very hard to build his cleaning empire but it seemed to have sucked any life and excitement out of him.

The minute word gets around that the customer is a perfectionist, the price goes up - perfection is a costly business.
The contractors will have spotted him a mile off and doubled the price, he knows it too, but if he can afford it then why not - he never complained about the price.garyhun said:
I really like it.
With 5+ acres around you, it's tbe perfect place for all that glass
It wasn't exactly central on the site, from the overheads it looks like the neighbours are actually pretty close through the trees. In winter with the leaves off you'd probably have a clear view across. With 5+ acres around you, it's tbe perfect place for all that glass
