Does 'ecological' count as 'eco' on the bingo? smile

Why oh why is there rarely a garage incorporated in their designs. I think I've seen every episode and only a couple of garages have been featured.
Doesn't everyone's design start with a garage??!!

At last, a proper moment of doom for our host. He's had to be patient this series.

Not looking good, is it.

After adverts, perhaps the house has sold and the house is completed.

GD has all gone very over dramatic hasn't it? It rains a bit so it's a disaster, a massive black cloud of doom and gloom hangs over the choosing of kitchen cupboards, their old house doesn't sell within 5 minutes so the job stops for a bit, kevins voice drops as he holds back tears....
It's just a typical build....

Indeed. When I've made my fortune and do mine it'll basically be a massive garage with an annex on it. hehe

Get in, a massive pile with floor to ceiling windows for your neighbours in the little terrace houses to peer into.

They had a garage, the overgead view showed a double/ triple mid construction.

In fairness, the rain in that area last November to January was biblical. Not far from there an entire building was washed away.

I had some sympathy for him as we were doing our own project at the same time.

Really nice place, I'd still be happy if it was half the size though.

I don't like criticising people and their builds on Grand Designs. Its their house, their money and their dream. Having said that, there were some questionable design details regarding the construction of the structural timber frame frown

I hope it works for them and doesn't cause problems, but that wasn’t the way to do it.
