Been looking forward to this, but having watched ep1, can't decide whether I like it or not.

Hmm, just watching this on plus 1 and doubt if I will make it through to the end.

This was so disappointing....

The premise of an asteroid hitting the earth is not exactly a new concept, but I liked the idea of a series that focused on how people reacted to the news that the Earth was weeks away from an extinction level event. What would happen to society? Would it breakdown? Would we be faced with complete anarchy - murders, rapes, looting etc. With no consequences to your actions, what would you do? Law and order would disappear, martial law in the UK would be all but unmanagable. Or would it be exactly the opposite?

Instead, we got a half baked series of plot lines from the rubbish bin of the worst soap ever written.

The subject matter is bloody interesting
enough without having to resort to an evil twin (Michael Knight, eat your heart out), a foul mouthed priest, and that one from Birds of a Feather who should have done what the other one did - namely lock herself in her 4 bedrooms detached house and never appear on my television set again.

Yeah but the advertising on the radio was a laugh not -

imagine sat at work and hearing that it has been announced that an asteroid is on collision course with the earth..... yeah my heart missed a beat. what a way to advertise a program..... not funny...

I wonder if this was a real situation would they go public or would they decided to just let it go as there would be nothing that could be done so what would the point of be to upset the masses and risk total breakdown ? just let it slide and then one day it wouldnt be there - all over and all that....

Two threads running, the other one seems to have more people that enjoy this show.

I'm still watching and still enjoying it, despite the dark twist this week.
